Thank you very much.

The past government where never sustainable in their actions and policies, that is why we are in such situation today. They never planned for the future generation, and same may have to pay back for the reckless behaviours of the past, Thereby affecting their future.

Fuel Scarcity Conundrum: Mistakes of Yesteryears -
1.Saudi Arabia with a population of 26m has 16 functional refineries, to commission another 2 of 400,000 barrel each per day capacity in 2016
2. The U.S State of California alone has 26, Texas has 19 refineries
3. Whereas Singapore with a population of 5.6million people has 3 refineries with combine refining capacity 1.3m bp/d;
4. Nigeria has 3 or 4 (non functional refineries) built in the 70s & early 80s...now obsolete...16 years of oil boom we didn't add even ONE.
5. We did not invest in our downstream sector, but handed out importation licenses to cronies & acolytes. Today we are paying the price
6. We are paying the price of our past profligacy, irresponsibility in governance and blind leadership.
8. For instance, Egbin power plant was valued at $1.2 billion. A German electricity company bidded but GEJ sold it to Sahara Energy at $470m.
9. Sahara had no previous records on power plant aside importation of petrol but we handed them our LARGEST thermal plant..
10. Easier to cry today but whatever problems we see today was created yesterday with the active connivance of all of us...
11. Active connivance in the sense that we all kept quiet & looked away... Our day just dey break?
12. I am not exonerating the FG of blame, but laying the facts as they are... While you have the right to be angry, pls be angry with sense.
13. Change will come but it will not come overnight... A lot of mess was made either out of omission or commission, change will take a while
14. I am laying these facts out and I challenge anybody with contrary facts to bring it.
15. I am doing this because I feel the pain and agony we are going thru and I feel the collective hurt but we must understand why we are here.
16. I pray that the present FG will have the courage and conviction to right so many of the ills of the past. Our future depends on it.
17. May Nigeria be great again & may our collective suffering spur us to a greater sense of true nationhood. Nigeria shall rise again!!!
God bless us!

Bros you will make heaven... it's so sad that many people REFUSE to understand that while FG have been using 'trial and error' method to solve nigeria's issues, they are actually HONESTLY trying to salvage this country!

It's 2016 and we still importing oil? Someone told me GEJ built new universities... Is that nigeria's problem?

We are a population of 170m people, everyone can't go to school! In the U.S once u get your high school diploma (SSCE in naija) you start looking for a biz or work to do(that's if you ain't interested / lack funds for university(college) edu)

That's why America's economy is run by SME's.

Come to naija and the cost of doing business is so high, most entrepreneurs cannot survive their biz's 'teething phase'. #no light, no water, double/triple taxation, useless laws, high cost of running gen #

Someone said jonathan built roads (which I can't see) but anyway roads are not naijas main prob now, rail? Yes!! Improving our waterways transport? Yes!! we need to start producing or have foreigners establish plants here.

No change can occur without pain, a drug addict cannot just wake up with a smile on his face and quit drugs... rehab is a cruel journey.

When Moses lead the israelites out of Egypt they were all celebrating then they got to the wilderness and started saying they preferred captivity under the Egyptians (pdp) lol

In the end Israel in 2016 is a well recognised advanced nation, but moses never saw canaan, buhari might also not be alive to see nigeria fully change course and ascend to the top.
But my prayer is that he is able to sufficiently lay the right foundations to take nigeria to the promised land. Amen.

Thanks man. You represent hope. People who have never had children pray for the blessing of the womb. But both husband and wife may not have fully evaluated the implication of the woman getting pregnant, nursing it for nine months, face the hospital bills, grow up the child until he becomes great. they however, forget and becomes happy, when the child fully nurtured, becomes of immense value to them.

Change is a process not a destination.

What should differentiate is those who just scream at situation and those who do a deep dive to understand the cause and follow up on what government is doing to address them. Not just wailing.
