I feel like strangling Buhari right now

I hope when he travels, his plane should crash into pieces.

May God have mercy on you. And may God protect the President and grant him safe return from this and other journeys and also success as he seeks to refocus the ship of country to greatness.
True, the country is tough at the moment, but things will get better, soon. Meanwhile, the President needs your support, not curses.

We are ALWAYS the cause of our problems. The problem with Nigeria is the Nigerian people themselves, a few of whom are in government for only a brief period of their lives

Am very disappointed at most comments l have read. Is it right for police to shoot unarmed persons. Since when has it become wrong for people to demonstrate and air their opinion. Are we no longer in Democratic government. In situation of things in Nigeria now most people eat 0-1-0.Even if d school increases d fees, why must they make payment criteria for writing exams when students can still do clearance before collecting their result. Our government has failed us,if police can shoot unarmed students that means we are no more in Democratic government rather we are in military regime were public opinion is prohibited. Students have d right to protest and police has no right to shoot rather they are control them.

Don't be disappointed sir but students could be funny at times. Here in OSU, when we had pur last protest, the police safely guided us while INSTRUCTING us not to damage anything or turn it into a violent protest. If crazy OSU students could be escorted by men of the police force, then for the police to open fire on the Uniport students, the students should have done something wrong. Don't always believe the way the news present issues. Policemen have families to take care of and am sure they won't want to lose their jobs thereby rationally thinking before opening firevon students. News that they know will be carried far and wide

Today being the 11th of april was suppose to be the beginning of our examination, but it was met by what seemed at 1st to be a peaceful protest.the protest was caused by the fact that the v.c of the uni(prof udowa lale)refused to let anyone who hasnt paid his or her sch fee to partake in the examination, meaning u get the whole section carry over(dispite the current economy),while it was 1st peaceful with the police around,it later turned bloody when the police opened fire on us...3 already accounted shut dead others wounded..photos of the protest nd 1 dead attarched.,

...Sir , Are you a student of that school? undecided

Hey, abeg park one side!

I was there, not a student though.

The police opened fire because one of the students said something to them, which up till now nobody knows what was really said. But does that warrant shooting someone to death?

What really got to me was that the shot was fired three times, meaning the policeman was bent on killing that particular student.

After the first shot on the stomach, the guy was begging the officer, but yet he opened up the second and third shot, even with his colleagues telling him to stop!

I think that particular officer is high on some substance. If I had a gun with me at that instant, I would shoot all of them up. Bunch of bastards.

Nobody is commenting on the massive infrastructural destruction that has taken the university at least 10 years back.

The circumstances under which the student was shot still remains a mystery.

Personal property were also destroyed and looted.

So am quite disappointed how Universities go about the process of school fees payments and course registration. I mean Uniport?? Really? I thought u guys are said to be one of the foremost institutions that should also set pace for other.
Ask great schools like Unilag how systems work! Pay school fees, ur student portal opens then u are able to register courses and then u know within you that you have legitimately registered for the said session.
Why are they asking you guys to pay school fees before exams as if you were still in primary school? Are you kids? Is education free?? Don't you expand more than the said amount personally on irrelevances
I blame the school for having failed to set up a working system. One that is clear to all and sundry.
And if u had to protest for anything whatsoever, why direct words to the Nigerian Police? You have issue with your school Management not the police. Sometimes we ask trouble on ourselves... protest...dont break things call your Vc whatever name you want to... na una know... just don't be violent...it gets you nothing at the end.
I participated in a few protests as a student in lag and I must say that I am proud to ha been an active part of those. Cus we were heard!!! No one died...we didn't destroy stuff.
But again... you guys are Niger-Deltans, Majority of you thrive on chaos a lawlessness...no apologies whatsoever!

Nonsense

P.S May the dead find peace.
