A honeymoon is not a necessity or requirement after your wedding. Many people do it because it is a tradition or cultural norm where they live.( mostly westerners) Others do it because it is a good excuse for a vacation to get away with your new spouse before starting your life together.
These days I see more people postponing or skipping a honeymoon altogether, due either to finances or difficulty finding time to get away.

Honeymoon is not really neccesary in this part of the world, i think it intimate the newly weded couple more,imagine being in isolation with your hearthrob catching fun and mostlikely planning your future together.
