Yeah man, I know. But on iOS, if it's iCloud lock... Forget it. Can't be unlocked

shocked Really
Dam5reey:

I tell you, I don't just want to talk to much before some people think say I dey steal phones undecided

Someone said iCloud account cannot be unlocked.. grin

The last time I checked, iCloud was coded by human being and not machine.

Before human create a doorlock there is always a key to open it.. Only those that have access to the key can enter it's simple...

But who am I to disagree.. tongue

Am just Passing by o grin

Give it to those you know are good at their job, there is nothing special in changing a phone's screen.

If what you have on that screen is the problem, just use the volume button to boot into recovery, wipe data and reboot

Outline the steps you took that got you here. Flashing a fastboot rom is pretty straightforward.

from my experience with a redmi 5 plus , you can only go from a vendor rom to a china rom, global rom will give you this error

Lol. Guy calm down.

Your phone dey recovery you come dey lament like this? grin nothing do your phone na.

It's either you flashed the wrong rom or wrong version.

Download a developer rom or Chinese rom and flash with Mi Flash tool.

After you can then flash global rom.

If you didn't relock it during flashing, then it should be unlocked. Follow acekid's solution, download Chinese fastboot rom and let's see if that would work out. If it does, then you can then reflash the global rom.

When you are flashing, at the bottom of the screen the default option is flash and relock (can't remember properly now), so one needs to manually choose the the unlock option. (Still can't remember the vivid description)
