Order Global version, if u care about more lte bands and availability of more languages other than English and chinese. If not, u can go for the chinese version.

Global version is currntly cheaper than Chinese version.

You still didn't get my point. The Samsung note 8 might be 2 times costlier than the xiaomi mi8. And mind you, have you ever trying to sell phone to those guys who buy and sell at the Emeka Offor Plaza? The will not even pay more than half of what you bought that Samsung.

I sell and repair phones and the number of people demanding Tecno phones is huge. That is what they are familiar with and as a seller, i cant help but stock up my shop with Tecno phones.

The average person in Nigeria does not go online to check out the best models for their money..

They go with what they are most familiar with and the great majority of Nigerians don't know of Xiaomi,

Only those familiar with the brand will splurge good money for a used Xiaomi..

MOST will go for a used Galaxy..

Nope, the Y3 is launching in India on the 24th as an upgrade on the Y2. The Y series is exclusive for India as other regions get the S series.
