Edit your WhatsApp media settings to not download media automatically, whether on WiFi or mobile data. Do the same for Facebook

Yes I get you. Thanks.

Actually, it can't be corrected no matter what you flash or do. It's hardware. Not software.

You can actually. You have to completely format the device then flash the 64bit Android img. Dirty flashing a 64bit Rom won't work.

Here's an example from MTK...

I find it very funny when people lament that their phones, Redmis in particular, zap data abnormally or that a service provider do the same. You can't have your cake and eat it.

Oh! Okay. Never knew o. But I believe outrightly flashing an AOSP custom rom can't change it.

Well understood bro. Thanks for educating me.
I ordered one already so I wanted to know. I did some background reading. I see from youtube that the speed is fairly comparable to 8A, so it's okay. It's a second phone anyways.

Once downloaded, you'll just need to flash using the updater, nothing out of ordinary. Steps avail on the compilation thread.

The suggestion would have to do with Gboard,
but do the manual update first.

Edited:
You will have to flash ROM using fastboot method. My error.

Bro you don confuse me more oh.....I'm not a geek when it comes to technology.
1. I don't know the compilation thread
2. I don't understand the Gboard part
3. I don't understand the part about flashing ROM
4. I do't know how to do manual update.

Sorry I don't know most of these things, kindly put me through. my phone was hanging today too and closing apps. It is very unresponsive sometimes too.
Thank you brother.

On the contrary, someone said it can. But I don't think there's any firmware for R7A that can correct that.

It's a good phone no doubts and it's comparable to R8A.
