Just try placing your phone in an area your child wouldn't be able to reach or get to.

Hello all, I tried calling my wife yesterday but I couldn't reach her for hours. When I finally got home, my wife complained to me that her Redmii note 4 sim network went off and its not reading SIM cards. We have tried all we can but the networks for both Sims won't just come up.

Has anyone ever experienced this and what is the solution? Please this is giving me sleepless nights cause I don't have funds to get her a new phone at the moment.

Am test running the mi browser cos I may be leaving ucweb. I cant find how to paste bookmarks on the speed dial. Cos of the forced obnoxious adverts in ucweb I just downloaded adguard despite its toll on battery, those adverts are too annoying.

switching from UC web to mi browser is like getting out of the pan and into the fire, mi browser is just a UC wannabe.
Try MOZILLA FIREFOX and download it's ad-block plugins.
Trying to surf the web without seeing a single ad is hard to achieve this days.

Is firefox not heavy and buggy?
Does it support gesture navigation like ucweb?
And how can I add bookmarks to the speed dial in mi browser.

Guys I don't know how to explain this, so I'll do it the best way I can. I used my screen recorder 30 minutes ago, but after I finished using it I noticed that the touch gestures is still working, making it look as if my screen recorder is still active.

I've tried force restarting and even clearing the storage of the screen recorder app but it still persists till now. I've forced restart 3 times.

Note: this happened after I used the app to record when I was playing a game.

1. check your power button to make sure it is okay.
2. check if your device schedule off was mistakenly turned on.
3. consider backup n factory reset.
I don't advice reflashing full ROM because your device might power off during the installation which will lead to an automatic brick.

Many thanks Nurex01 for coming through. He got this beautiful device delivered to our home less than 20mins after payment was made. I don't know how he was able to pull that off but that is what they call service. Exceeding your customer's expectations.

We will do business again Sir. Cheers.

Hi guys. So I'm having a problem with updating my Redmi 8 to Android 10. Because I was yet to get the new update from my system updater, I went ahead to download the new update in a zip folder from the MIUI updates forum. But anytime I try to effect the update, I get the response in the attached image.

PS: my phone is a global version, and so is the update I downloaded.

I'll appreciate your help.
