Hello guys, im using an infinix note 2 bt feel like changing to xiaomi.

Which of the models is suggested?

What i'm looking for are:
1day plus battery life
No heating
Less than $100 price
5.5" and above HD screen
Finger print scanner....Front preferably.

However if there are other phones that go SLIGHTLY beyond some listings up there but you think are worth sharing, please do. Also, pls, mention me when you do so the response isn't lost. Thanks guys.

That price won't cut it for any xiaomi phone unless them still dey lab dey manufacture one. Well if you hold 70k, you fit buy my Xiaomi redmi note 4 prime sha grin cheesy

New alerts

Settings * installed apps * cell broadcast * custom notification * uptick show notification .

But I'm not sure why you get such broadcasts. There should be another way to turn it off.

**modified **

Check settings * more * emergency broadcasts.

Again I doubt if this solves it. But still have a look at it

Use MiFlash to flash to stock.

Since you have TWRP you can backup your app data if it's important.

Alright, boss.

I'll try this, although I have yet to study the process. Thanks.

Guys, could someone point me to the latest mi flash tool? Thanks.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Baadal(m): 4:21pm On May 19, 2017
Gptech:

Just download the latest rom, copy it to the internal memory of your phone in a folder named 'downloaded_rom' (you can create the folder yourself), then open the updater app(normally located in tools), click the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, then choose updater package, scroll to the folder 'downloaded_rom' and select the file. Your phone will immediately flash the rom, takes about 15 mins or so.
You can download the rom from here, download the global stable rom (1.5gig), http://en.miui.com/download-321.html
Thanks a lot! God bless you....i'll let you know if i encounter any issue

Yes, just download an old version of stable rom and follow same procedure above, just saw a thread on miui of someone having similar issues as you, he finally downloaded an older version of miui, then he got an update of the latest rom through the updater app. http://en.miui.com/thread-595533-1-1.html, that's the thread, so just follow this guy and download version 8.1.9.0 and use updater app to flash.
