iPhone 11 vs xiaomi redmi note 10pro
which one should I go for.
please, I need honest opinions and reviews.
No insults please.

The iPhone is the better of the two. Plus for swag, na still the iPhone 11. Price to performance ratio though, the Redmi has it

If possible you can back up reset the device to factory and also continue to hard reset often by holding power button steady till phone vibrates
Thanks alot

I use Redmi Note 8 pro... i updated to MIUI 12.5 about 10days ago and i haven't noticed any of the problems you listed here.
My battery doesn't drain more than 2-3% overnight, even if i mistakenly put my data on overnight it doesn't drain more than 5%
Although the update is not that stable so different users might experience different issues but there should be a fix soon.
Thanks alot. I will look more into the issues

I held the Redmi note 10 pro at a physical store today, the experience was heavenly, unfortunately I have to wait for my order on jumia till the end of the holidays. I can only afford the Note 10s, but we move!!!

Because MIUI 12.5 haven't been released for RN8. Calm down even newer phones haven't gotten so don't use RN8 Pro as a yardstick.

You can only access so hidden settings from activity launcher nothing special. And you might still not find it if Xiaomi don't want you to.

You should be looking at the price difference. They are like a hundred and fifty thousand naira apart.

Other than that, the iPhone has a better camera and performance. But that's not to say the Redmi wouldn't provide great performance and camera shots as well.

Why not just get a MI 10t Pro or mi 11? These ones I can say are better than the iPhone.

Ok bro, thanks.

As long as it is not affecting the functionality of your phone it shouldn't be a bother to you.

My Redmi Note 7 (4GB 64GB, bought in August 2019) is now so terribly laggy and slow that performing basic tasks like unlocking the phone, launching call or messages app is a headache.

This phone used to run smooth playing CODM and other games but now, it's all shit. I've had to uninstall all the games on my phone maybe it would be better but no. Sometimes, when I unlock the phone, it becomes unusable for 2 whole minutes. The RAM doesn't keep applications running in the background. I experience reloading every time I go from one app to another...and I'm talking apps like WhatsApp, YouTube and Browser.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I don't think battery replacement is a wise investment. Just buy a powerbank since you'll most likely not be using the phone next year.

Your powerbank will serve other purposes.

There's this very strong Oraimo powerbank that sells for ₦8,500. It's 20,000mah. You'll probably spend 6k on a new battery with replacement cost.

Spend wisely.
you get sense wella.

SoC is starting to show it's age.

Clear some space and remove your SD card and see if it helps. The SD card could be the problem.

If it doesn't help

Back up your data and factory reset.

When you are restoring your data, leave a generous amount of space free. If you must use a memory card, use a class 10 and not a slow one.

Thanks for your input. I don't use a SD card though and I have about 10GB of free space at the moment

Maybe a factory reset would solve it

Do you do a force restart from time to time or do you stay a long time with your phone constantly running?

If the latter is your case desist from it.

Battery is not all about battery size and display type. Very wrong notion and assumptions.

As far as 2021 is concerned, Poco F3 battery life is one of the best out there.

Yea I agree, because I watched a video of an f3 vs poco x3 pro and mi 10t battery drain test, and f3 outperforms them with additional 1hr, though having a smaller battery capacity.
