Check your notification volume and ensure DND i.e Do no Disturb (Crescent moon icon) isn't enabled

Hello Tech gurus, Please helm with this: my Redmi phone doesn't connect to my pc via USB. Also, whenever I put on battery saver, my WiFi and location gets turned on automatically and further drain my battery.

Yeah, you'll enjoy the phone. It's got flagship features for a mid range price unlike one phantom x that's got a flagship price for mid range features.

I was shocked beyond imagining when I reviewed the phone. It's got no screen protection, (not even Corning gorilla glass 1), it's neither water nor splash resistant, It uses helio processor (as against dimensity), and it retails for over 200k. The value of that phone is less than half its retail price. When u explain to dem tech illiterates dem go say d camera sharp

That lady the took her Redmi 9t to the care centre made a bit mistake. She should have waited for a week and some days and the phone will turn on again or disconnecting and replacing the battery again. It's a Bug associated with update of below 12.0.10
Because it hasn't happened to you so you have little or no experience about it. It's is 80% a hardware problem, the update just triggers it. People on 12.0.10, 12.0.11 and even 12.0.15 have experienced it. Disconnecting the battery only works for about 3 "deadboot" cycles, after that, disconnecting the battery stops working. The next solution is to blow hot air into the board, even that is a temporary fix too. So the best solution really is to cash in on the Warranty at the Service Center and hope that miraculously Xiaomi supplies them with the parts for a board replacement. That is the only permanent fix for now, waiting for any update to correct this anomaly is a complete waste of time.

PS: i am speaking from a very vast experience on this particular problem, so if you own a R9T or his twin brother Poco M3, i strongly advice against updating except it is absolutely necessary and hope the board of the phone doesn't give in.

Make una no dey buy UK used iPhones o. I can't fit take that risk. It's either it's new or nothing. In this case, go for the RN10 pro abeg. To be on a safer side
