Where are we having pre-Iftar programme? I mean where do we meet between 6-7 before proceeding to Munchies? Is there a mosque around to pray Moghrib?

yes there is a mosque but its quite faraway from munchies but then when we gether 4d iftar at 6pm we'll pray magrib at my friend's shop which is quite close to munchies, 82,awolowo road ikoyi,i have brought mat and insha Allah we'll pray salatul magrib and then any brother who wish to stay 4taraweeh will go to syrian mosque at ribadu road off awolowo road,

6.15 - 6:30 - Faces behind the IDs (introduction: NL name, real names, marital status etc)
6.30 - 6:45 - Short lecture by any ustaz present
6.45 - 6.55 - Special prayers
6.55 - 7:00 - Breaking of fast with fruits
7.00 - 7:10 - Monghrib
7:10 - 7:55 -Big chop @ Munchies while discussions, networking & rendezvous go on
7:55 - Dispersal/Closing prayer

You have a very valid point there. We should be seen and recognised as believing women, ALL OF THE TIME. May Allah make it easy for us and accepts our good deeds from us. May He also make it easier for us to always engage in righteous acts, amin.

Thanks, but I'm not sure the dressing was bad in the one we had last time. There were just 5 sisters and I'm not aware of any immodest dressing. Same for brothers too.

Alhamudullilah, the program was very successful. its really heart warming to be able to put faces on NL ids. There was little lecture and introduction before breaking of fast, we then observed Magrib together before moving to Munchies for sumptuous meal. May Allah bless the organisers and all attendees.
