The problem with Nollywood movies has nothing to do with the movie titles. Hollywood makes movies with mad funny movie titles too that could pass as nollywood titles The rich man's wife Lie to me The final destination I'm sure y'all can think of more. My point is the reason why people perceive a movie title as stupid is if the movie is wack. So hate on the movies, and not the titles. |

Well I must say these titles are funny but hey all you guys have listed isnt more than a hundred titles out of thousands of Nollywood movies that exist. It may take some time but we will get better and really there are some movies that make sense like my short movie that won M-Net New Directions, titled Ab'obaku which showed on MNet channels for three months. Not commercial though but I believe there are talents in this country and with proper funding, we can make better movies |

 pretty funny huh, well, i dont even watch them, not to talk of knowing the titles, am sorry Nigerians, but our movies is not just my style and we were not brought up with it in my house. The main problem with it is prediction. you know the end before the beginning. I guess they should do better. |

@Anabel: Most people assume you can predict the end from just looking at the film jacket but that is not always the case. Even in Hollywood movies, there are cliches, like when you see a car speeding and it approaches a bend, next thing coming has to be a trailer and when the shot in a scene opens with a swimming pool, someone must fall into that pool, and every car that screeches in the states must do a 360 or 180 degree. Every car that is driving dangerously on a cliff must end up hanging at the cliff and every car that falls down a height must explode even when the driver just said two scenes ago that he is out of fuel |

Instead of watching so many Nollywood movies, I'll watch one Hollywood seasonal films for a whole year like The Seeker, Dark Angel, 24hrs and the rest and not get tired of watching even if it's up to Season 10. |
