It surprises me when people keep saying go and ask their governors and their senators for their money.
For your information the level of development in the Niger delta now was done by the people through their governors not through the federal government. If you have been to the niger delta before the advent of OBJ civillian regime and then you go there now, then you would know that the governors in those region have tried, would you talk about akwaibom, cross river,rivers state,edo state,Ondo and even bayelsa that had no road after years of fending for the nation.
I am not saying they have done superbly but they have brought life to their people at least when you start counting fast developing states in nigeria before you count one single state in the north you would have counted at least 3 from the niger delta

But who will come to your aid when u can no longer fish or farm, who will fix ur roads, schools and hospitals when u contribute zero to national economy. Even if the oil is left for the Niger-Deltans, won't they kill themselves over "who is the majority?" Ani una feel say deltans especially love themselves? If not urhobo and itshekiri today, it will be Ijaw and itshekiri. Make una go sleep jare. Na una go still run to FG make them settlement una tribal differences wen una don kill una selves over the oil finish if left to control ur oil. Or do u think Ijaw will allow another tribe produce the next governor after now in Delta? The old tribal war with soon arise after this.
