What type of scan shld I do cos I av done pelvic scan abt 2 months ago and d result was normal except for a left cyclical cyst and doc said I shldnt worry dat it will shrink cos I did it during my ovulation period.

I was thinking about you having cysts which is why I suggested the scan. You can just do a repeat to check for cysts again just in case. But don't worry much. Let your Dr take care of things.

Rukky, go to a good scan center and do folliculometry, its a TVS that monitors your ovaries from after ur period till you ovulate. Its about 10k or so depending on location. Baby dust to you

Yes she said she did IUI at George's Lekki, Lagos. The N100k as explained in her post is just for the cost of the procedure only, she bought her drugs by herself. I really think it's a good price. And good that the hospital allowed her that option too.

1.Try to de-stress and don't think so much
2. Sit down and really analyse to find out what could be affecting your libido since your hormones are perfect. Is there something making you feel unsexy like being fat, feeling pain during sex, dry veejay which makes sex no fun, bad breath or something from your DH? etc. Once you find out what's wrong, then you can or we can help you find a way around it
3. Find something that will make you sexy, look back on when you were had the libido and always wanted to do the deed with your husband to find out what excites you.
4. Think of whats exciting to you now that can make you want to do it if your tastes have changed.
5. You can get Maca Supplement, it helps with balancing hormones and increasing libido.
6. If you've done all tests and you're OK then get your husband to get a Seminal Fluid Analysis (SFA) to get his swimmers tested.
7. Above all pray with faith, God answers. Prayer is the key.

God has been so kind that it's not something incurable or difficult to treat. So just bless God and don't let it get you down. Instead, get it down. We're here for you. You'll see. You'll get your BFP soon. Just do what you have to do and believe God ok. Take care and sleep well.

I think depression could cause low libido it has happened to me too in the past, try not to be depressed and also use lemon with warm water every morning it increases libido. About what to try to help conceive, only God is able to do that and he will answer us all

Plus stop crying sis that can cause something else in the body. Try the ewedu therapy with the cabbage and vitb6 as mamas here suggest. Fvine will also throw more lights cause av had her talked about this many times.

In addition to what others hv said, Queenbuki, do not dwell on the fact that you hv been trying and it is not happening so what is the use of trying again and again. When we think this way, we tend to lose appetite for sex since we see no baby coming. It happens to me too. My sis, dont be discouraged. Even when ppl say they relaxed and it happened, it does not mean that they stopped having sex.

Yes HSG can be done even if you have Fibroids. The primary aim of the HSG is to check the state of the Fallopian Tubes. I've never been to Benin except well passing by to my home state. Benin Mamas am sure will come along and answer you on that one.

my dear as i read back some1 suggested u go n run pt n even malaria tests. No1 can diagnose on guess work. Pls run d tests lets knw wstsup wit u. Also did u av menstruation issues b5 u started taking m2tone n Fertilaid?

@happymummy to add to wat Fvine said hsg also outlines ur utetus n cervix. So if fibroid is distorting d outline, or other defects it shows.
In some pple d dye flushes away minor obstructions in d tubes n dey get bfp afterwards

@Queenbuki relax n reduce obsessing over belle issue. It makes u more tensed up. U can change environment or do something u love doin dat u av not done in a while

@99bıllıondollars, try and relax your mınd. Hıgh prolactın level affects ovulatıon no doubt but ıt can be controlled wıth Dostınex, Parlodel or Bromocrıptıne. Some mothers swear to the effectıveness of local use of cabbage and ewedu. But ı would advıse you go for Parlodel or Dostınex, they are very effectıve.
@Queen Bukı, dona tee and other mothers have saıd ıt all, u need to relax my dear. TTC can affect sexual lıbıdo no doubt, but I would advıse u to try and not let thıs feelıng be transfered over to ur husband, because for a man, lack of sexual lıbıdo can be worse off(ask TTC ladıes who ovulate regularly but cant get theır hubby's weapon erect). If u can get, get multı Maca from forever lıvıng pıps and take ıt, ıt could boost your lıbıdo, and lıke Donatee saıd, fınd somethıng engagıng.
@Vanny, thıs ıs your CD 44! and you are gettıng all these body reactıons. Well, u dıdnt state why you took the M2tone, but your answer lıes ın your own questıon. Sınce you havent seen your perıod,you run a pregnancy test to confırm pregnancy and ıf not, then you know ıts reactıons from the m2tone. I wısh ıts a bfp though. If ıts not, then ıts probably PMS symptoms.

Thnx @fvine, I will repeat d pelvic scan. I pray der is no cyst der cos wen I did d scan, d cyst was 29mm and dr said it can't prevent conception.

@hotmomma, thnx for d suggestion but can d folliculometry scan be done with high Prolactin level measuring 26.
I also want to know how long it will take for my Prolactin to normalise since it's not really high

And also u can use injections or drugs to trigger ovulation. Why are u even crying madam u no get problem, that's one of the smallest and treatable case when it's comes to infertility. Good morning fvine I think I need to make a correction to my initial statement. The actual cost of iui now is 120k from March 1st but I understand I was given a discount Becos I actually started the procedure before then I postponed the last cycle to this cycle. Also what I meant by buying the drugs myself was that the cost of injectibles by name menogon in the hospital is about 60k while the trigger shot is 10k I will give u an estimate of about 200k.
