The forerunner of spec ops,Otto Skorzeny! Hero of at least 10 successful ops,the most well known being Op Oak,where he flew into Italy and rescued Hitler's ally Mussolini from his Italian Alps prison hotel.

With no easy way to reach the resort from the ground, Skorzeny opted for a risky aerial attack. On September 12, 1943, he and a team of commandos made a silent descent on the mountain in twelve gliders and stormed the hotel, easily overwhelming the bewildered Italian guards. After destroying the post’s radio equipment, the commandos located a much-relieved Mussolini, who supposedly exclaimed, “I knew my friend Adolf Hitler would not leave me in the lurch!” Desperate to make his getaway before reinforcements could arrive, Skorzeny convinced one of his support aircraft to make a precarious landing on the rugged mountaintop and then personally escorted Mussolini to safety in Austria.

Post war he advised Egypt and later allied with post war Germans in Argentina, the HQ of a secret global outfit that still pulls strings worldwide-another story!

He joined the Leibstandarte,a truly crack unit at the beginning of 1939,made up of rare individuals who set records still unsurpassed for combat performance. Guys like Joachim Peiper,Kurt Meyer and Michael Wittmann were typical of Leibstandarte soldier material, many of whom fought from Poland to Kursk, the Ardennes and the final apocalyptic battle of Berlin-google them for jaw dropping heroics.

He invented the very idea of spec ops, hand picked men tasked with specific objectives.

Special Operations (SO) encompass the use of small units in direct or indirect military actions focused on strategic or operational objectives. They require units with combinations of trained specialized personnel, equipment, and tactics that exceed the routine capabilities of conventional military forces. SO are characterized by certain attributes that cumulatively distinguish them from conventional operations. These operations are politically sensitive missions where only the best equipped and most proficient forces must be deployed to avoid detection and possible mission failure that can result in damage to US prestige and interests.

Btw,the German post war faction who found a home in the US introduced the operational idea to their hosts who formed the Green Berets, the first true spec ops force in the 50s.

The funny thing is AFAIK the secret global outfit is not so secret , it's in the open. Its assets r atleast 1 trillion.

Anyways no point talking about it , since it is too powerful even for countries to go against it.

I knew if anyone here had heard of the inner circle of Nazis it had to be you! That trillion dollar estimate is way low though, considering their proxies like Bush and others controlled the CIA for decades. Imagine all the SEA heroin and S American cocaine that passed through their hands; goddamit!?
BTW,they still have Antarctic bases they built just before WW2 and some researchers swear the original 100 + yrs old Nazi Elite are still alive due to secret life extension technology which I MYSELF BELIEVE.

I love your military sense of humour.

I recall the one about snipers where they said something like "you can run but you will die tired". So better stay put and take a bullet in the head.

The US is selling the futuristic tilt rotor V22 Osprey to the Chosenites! They clapped and cheered but its actually a left handed gift typifying a subtle anti Israel agenda part of the Trump game plan. The Osprey, despite starring in military movies flies like a rock!

According to NAVAIR officials, any sale of V-22s would be part of a package with heavy-lift helicopters: Israel is evaluating the Sikorsky CH-53K and the Boeing CH-47F Chinook to replace its fleet of aged CH-53 Yasurs.

NAVAIR plans to finalise the third multi-year production contract for V-22s by June or July, Kelly says. The next five-year production plan calls for introducing CMV-22s with the US Navy, and delivering 17 V-22s ordered by Japan, along with additional shipments to the USMC and AFSOC.

Shlomo doesn't know what he's in for!
The V-22 Osprey had 12 hull loss accidents that resulted in a total of 42 fatalities. During testing from 1991 to 2006 there were four crashes resulting in 30 fatalities.[1] Since becoming operational in 2007, the V-22 has had seven crashes including two combat-zone crashes,[2][3] and several other accidents and incidents that resulted in a total of 12 fatalities.[4]

Here's the first crash in '91.

Over a decade ago the USMC raised shocking concerns here: From my point of view, there are six critical issues whose operational consequences need to be understood by decision-makers as these may affect the future operational safety of this aircraft and the survivability of aircrews in a combat environment. The six issues are:

The V-22’s lack of an autorotation capability, or even a demonstrated all engine inoperative safe landing capability, remains cause for concern. V-22 fails to meet the ORD threshold requirement for a survivable emergency landing with all engines inoperative from a large portion of its operating envelope.

Fyi,every chopper auto rotates! Ain't that some ishyt!!

First is an Okinawa crash last year and Hawaai crash and burn in 2015.
