Relationship to me is not something someone should just make private if you are serious about it.

Making it private means anyone else no matter how close or important apart from the two parties involved cannot know about it.

For a serious relationship, here are reasons why you must not keep your relationship private:

1. LACK OF COMMITMENT:

There will be no security. At any point in time anyone can just decide to leave the relationship since there is no one to ask questions as regards the abandonment.

And you are not on a right part if you don't know some friends, relatives of your partner to some extent when you call yourself lovers.

Those that even knows the biological parents of their partner are being dumped any how let alone you that is claiming to be holy by keeping your relationship secret.

2. IT CLOSES UP THE CHANCE FOR DISTURBANCE

When your relationship is public it reduces the chances of you being disturbed by the opposite sex especially the lady.

There are some men that once they hear you are in a relationship they keep off.

And as a man, it gives you a sense of being watched by someone unknown because you are already in a serious relationship and almost everyone knows.

3. BREAKING UP WILL NOT BE EASIER

Relationship isn't for children, but for adults who are ready to surrender all ego and differences to build a decent and lasting union.

Breaking up should be the last thing on the list this kind of determined minds.

Making your relationship public will make any of the parties involved think twice before taking a decision since you know there are some people looking up to your relationship, and there are some you wish to prove wrong about your relationship, especially those that thinks nothing good can come out of your relationship.

Not that those points i have mentioned will guarantee a successful relationship as there are so many relationship that are made public, yet, the unthinkable destroyed the union. But, they will go a long way to determine the success of any relationship a bit.

I know some people are very stubborn, they know you are in a relationship, yet, they will keep coming and coming thinking you will change your decision in their favour one day if they don't allow you to breath, but it is to a certain level that will last if you are determined.

Don't be deceived by a man/woman who says it is not yet time for you to know my friends or parents when you know it is over time, that statement is sign of no commitment and if you really know what is good for you you need to do the needful before it gets out of hand.

There are no real reasons to make your personal affairs public. The world isn't nice. So, the more things you can keep as discreet as possible, the better for you...
