AbdelKabir:

OK.....but by mere looking at his(the guy in the other thread), does it look sincere?

He is known for what he does. I dunno if he truely seeks to know or he seeks to argue for the sake of it.

Let's check ourselves..

If you are a better person outside your room compared to inside then you are a munafiq(hypocrite)

If you are better inside than you are outside you are weak...

If inside and outside are the same, then you are a mu'meen...

It is reported that Muʿlā b. Al-Faḍl – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

They (the Salaf) used to supplicate to Allāh for six months asking Him to get them to the month of Ramaḍān; and they used to supplicate for six months that Allāh accept [their fasting and other worship in Ramaḍān].

Abul-Qāsim Al-Aṣbahānī, Al-Targhīb wa Al-Tarhīb article 1761.

These, our people, have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not bring for [worship of] them a clear authority? And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie?"

Surah al kahaf verse 15

Sisters, when you go to the Masjid and you see a sister with figure hugging clothes, full on makeup, nails done etc, don't for a moment think that you're better than her just because you wear the correct Jilbab/Niqab. Don't for a moment wonder why she's in the Masjid dressed up like that.

The Masjid does not belong to you. The Masjid is the House of Allah. EVERYONE is welcome. Pious ones, sinners, those seeking repentance or looking for a sense of direction. Who are you to limit it to anyone?
Rather than eyeballing that "modern" sister, remember this could be the first time she came to the Masjid. She could've been at some haram place but she chose to come to the House of Allah for a reason. Or she could be a regular at the Masjid. Or maybe she comes from a jahil (ignorant) family.

Maybe she's a revert, a sister just beginning her journey to Islam. Maybe she hasn't even reverted yet but is learning about Islam & thinks this type of dressing is more befitting than being half naked. Or maybe the sister knows all the rulings of Hijab but struggles in implementing them as she has weak Imaan.

Get up, leave your gang of Hijabi/Niqabi sisters. Make this sister feel welcome. Advise her in the BEST manner. Not in front of everyone. Take her to a side so not to embarrass her and then advise her in private. Honour her. Don't humiliate her. Befriend her.

Give her your number. Maybe all that sister needs is good company.
Remember Allah may forgive her for her sins but He won't forgive you for your arrogance. Do not fall into the trap of Shaitaan and ever think you're better than anyone.

Dear Muslimah, Do you have a love relationship with someone? If yes, then this is for you:

Someone said once: If you really love something let it go, if it comes back to you, then it’s yours.

Actually this is True!

Dear, leave him today! Not only because it’s Haram but also because you’re not promised tomorrow.

So repent today before tomorrow comes. Let go this relationship now! And if this boy is destined for you then he will be yours sooner or later in Halal. Put in mind that "What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips!" Don’t have him through Haram ways dear, have him with Allah’s satisfaction.

Please your LORD and Wallahi He will please you even more. Insha'Allah

Ibn Ya'qûb An Naijiree wrote:

1 year ago, still very much the case today:
When one goes through the Qasas of the Salaf, one will observe the great enthusiasm they showed towards knowledge and worship, I do not know any of the Salaf except he's an 'abid and an 'alim..Aside the knowledge they were bestowed and the worship they strove for they were people of good characters, fine manners and the interactions with people they deal with were superb.

In our time and in our setting it is almost rare for people to combine being an 'abid, an 'alim with good characters and characteristics, fine manners and mannerisms, and these deficiencies are even magnified in our places of work. A health worker(doctor, nurse, lab scientist) who hardly misses the Salaah in congregation finds it so easy to be arrogant and rude to patients' relatives, a clerical staff who will never pass by a Muslim without saying the Salaam displays appalling behaviour when his legal help is needed. Even on Social media don't we see the degree of insults in posts meant to admonish other folks despite the knowledge embedded in them?

The reality is we interact badly with one another outside the four walls of the masjid and this isn't limited to one setting. How I wish we could just begin to give character and manners attention, they only make us better .

I remember one of the lectures I watched from Abu Mussab and he talked about shirk. He mentioned that how we tend to belive that medication cures everything. He talked about when somone is taking medication, he shouldn't believe that the medication will cure him but rather take it with the intention and hope that Allah will grant him cure through the medication. He gave an example of a prophet which I don't recall, where when he was ill, Allah told him to use something* i dont remember exactly* and he was cured by the will of Allah. Then when the prophet fell ill again he went to do what he did the last time but he wasn't cured.

Does Your House Shine From Above?

The Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam said:

"The house in which the Qur'an is recited, appears to the people of the heaven as the stars appear to the people of the earth."

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: “The son of Adam will not move on from standing before his Lord on the Day of Resurrection until he is questioned about five things: about his life and what he did during it, about his youth and how he spent it, about his wealth and from where he earned it and on what he spent it, and what he did with the knowledge he acquired.”

Monopoly

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who holds a monopoly is a sinner.” [Sahih Muslim]

A Muslim is one who likes for others what he likes for himself. To hoard and monopolize what others need, and over-charge for it, contradicts the character that Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) wants us to develop and exhibit towards each other. A Muslim cannot be a capitalist, because for him Allah’s Pleasure has the highest priority, not money.

There is no shortage with Allah (subhana wa ta’ala). So instead of squeezing what you want out of other people, ask Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) to give it to you.
May Almighty Allah ease our Affairs. Amin

✒ Ṣsalāh Of 3 People Is Not Accepted By Allāh

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ثلاثة لا تجاوز صلاتهم آذانهم : العبد الآبق حتى يرجع ، و امرأة باتت و زوجها عليها ساخط ، و إمام قوم وهم له كارهون

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “There are THREE people whose prayers do not go beyond their ears (i.e not accepted by Allāh);

• A runaway slave until he returns back (to his owner).

• A woman who sleeps at night while her husband is displeased with her.

• & An Imām of a people who hate him.”

We are in a world where it takes two parents to cater for in some cases 10 children but ten children will fail to take care of their two parents.
Allaah says:
“And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents”
[al-Ahqaaf 46:15]
“And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents”
[al-‘Ankaboot 29:8]
“but behave with them in the world kindly”
