Not writing exams might give you admission but might become a problem during VISA (so u will be back to square 1 after your hope has been raised) ...... So its best to find time and write the exams . That way it would even open up more school options for you and depending can also open up GA opportunities.

Dulles is definitely closer then....because even from dulles if he calls Uber or shuttle bus it might be around $20 to drive him there . It will be much easier if he goes to Dulles

But if he must use flight to newyork then Bestbus will take him to Fairfax for $35 . From JFK he finds his way to Penn station by train.

Then at Penn station find the Bestbus. They have service to 2 locations in Fairfax County from Penn Station in New york. They go to Springfield or Vienna both are the closest to his destination in Virginia. He needs to check out of springfield or Vienna which is closest to his exact location...so to Newyork dont use greyhound instead use Bestbus

nawao o....this is sweet sha.all we keep hearing is take a local flight, bus, train, uber etc to *****.we no dey hear, drop at ****,take okada, keke nspep, molue, danfo, etc to *****....naso the cities names sef sweet for ear.ma testimony is near!

To be serious, if no serious illegal trick, none of you new students can get a credit card for the next 6 to 12 months. Because students don't have credit history during schooling, credit card companies are wary to issue cc to new/old students. For you to be a new credit card owner as a student, you must scan to them your school id card showing semester tuition paid sticker, 1-2 utility bills in your name, your state id/driver's license.

There are very few direct flight ie United which have stopped flying anyway.... it doesnt have to be a direct flight so for Dulles check Qatar airline. ......
lagos -Qatar - Dulles then Virginia is so near.... depending on where in Virginia he can catch the train (although stressful with luggages) or he comes out of the airport in Dulles and take a taxi
Except if he must fly direct and enter his POE by friday .(which means he left last night 11pm arik ) Then take Arik to NY which avoids transit time but Arik too sometime fit cancel fights. ...then Lagos to JFK catch the bus to where in Virginia (its not far with bus )

I'm not sure he's serious about it. Those are the documents Citibank asked from me when I applied back then and this was when I was about 1 year in US. Discover it is another card company that cherish students but they won't send you student card pre-approval if you haven't been in your 1+ years as a student. All the cards have similar approval requirements, you've to have a verifiable location before they entrust their money to you.

Well, probably. But they don't really referred to that as a credit card but rather a secured card. A secured credit card, requires that after you're approved (requirement varies from one bank to the other), you must fund it with your own money (deposit) to the credit limit. Literally, you're spending your own money and building your credit history. Terms for getting the two from Discover it website, in case the new guys consider getting one, but still they have to have a verifiable location and SSN.

Get Started With These Credit Card Options
There are two types of cards to explore if you’re getting started, or you have some credit history but your credit score is low:

Student Credit Cards
If you’re a student, you may qualify for a student credit card. You can also apply if your parent, guardian, spouse or another adult is willing to co-sign. You will also need to submit proof of full- or part-time schooling.

Using a student credit card with a co-signer allows you to create your own responsible bill-paying habits, while leaning on the co-signer for financial expertise. Be warned that any irresponsibility on your part will be reflected in your co-signer’s credit score, and you’ll both be held responsible if you go into debt.

If you think a student credit card is right for you, choose one with benefits and rewards that suit your life. The Discover it® Chrome for Students has no annual fee, 1% Cashback on your purchases (and 2% Cashback on gas and restaurants on up to $1000 in combined purchases each quarter). With Discover Good Grades Reward, you may be able to earn $20 Cashback Bonus each school year, for up to the next 5 years, if your GPA is 3.0 or higher.

Secured Credit Cards
If you’re no longer a student and you’d like to begin building credit history, a secured credit card may be an option. It also can be a way to bounce back if you are looking to rebuild your credit.

Secured credit cards are easier to qualify for. You give a deposit, which will cover the credit card company’s losses if you’re unable to pay your bills. You’re granted a credit limit, usually equal to the amount of your deposit. If you demonstrate responsible credit management across all of your cards and loans, you may qualify for an unsecured credit card, or, in other words, a traditional credit card that does not require a deposit.

If you decide to apply for a secured credit card, choose one that reports to all three credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion and Equifax). This will allow you to establish a credit history

Yeah. My roommate has been here for just a year and he has a 'Discover' card already.
Based on his credit score, he has had the card for at least six months.
I don't even bother discussing it with him as even the 'gbese' for my head don dey enough for now.

As an active student, Discover it will send to your school email that you're pre-approved when the time comes. They know when you're about a year as an active student. And they usually approve new customer about $2000.

Hehehe what kind of LIE IS THIS

ITIN is not for F1 Student .... grin . U are funny oo

Foreign students on F-1 are eligible to be employed in the United States, and are therefore eligible to apply for an SSN if they are actually employed in the United States..... so ITIN is only for people who cannot apply for or eligible for SSN. ....

2 months entry, so u are turning to pinky toes that you forget the 30 days rules so how can u have been there 2 months ago . When your previous post said you are a fall semester student
