This issue we call Budget padding has been going on in the NASS since Obj era unperturbed until now.
In the NASS rule book it's called Appropriation. It also allows the big boys in the House to share 40% of Constituency Project fund while the remaining 60% is shared by the remaining members.
I appreciate Jubrin's courage, though I little late,and can be termed vindictive. But it's good for the masses.
Disunity of the legislature is to our advantage. They shall never speak with one voice ijn, unless they repent.

Dogara is already a disgrace for saying that padding is legal and nobody can probe him because of his constitutional right and as a lawyer.

What an arrogant response by someone in his position who is holding such a position in the house. Because they have been doing this in the past and getting away with it hence his uncultured utterance over this padding issue.

If I were to be Buhari, the probe should extend to 1999 because the so called law makers are fraud. This goes to show that most of our leaders are not descent.

I am glad that Buhari came to power, we wouldn't have known what goes behind close doors with our leaders.Politicians has destroyed this country.

He has documents, he has submitted them, evidences plus key witness/witnesses nails a case. Especially, if Jibrin's case is hinged on co-conspiracy, where Jibrin gets off on a lighter punishment.

Jibrin as a witness is different from a situation where an outsider is testifying against you.

The same way crime lords are busted, get someone within the family to testify against you. Same reason Saraki and Ekweremadu are very aware of the precarious situation they are in with members of the senate testifying against them.

The courts will decide though, but I would never want to be in such situation.
