You didn't read the part of the report that stated that in the characteristics of GEJ, the ewallet fertilizer distribution was job for the corrupt pdp Jonathan boys as that noble idea was riddled with corruption that left a debt of N57billion shocked
That Jonathan administration was cursed with the spirit of stealing.
The current administration is actually mocking GEJ administration by explaining that it will be due to their own transparency and efficiency, the process may now work. The ewallet system failure is like the failure in the airport remordernization that was equally bungled by GEJ even after borrowing billions from the Chinese

Stop blaming Buhari. Buhari had announced his retirement from active politics after he was rejected for the third time in 2011.

Blame the foolish set of electorate who voted a man that might not have read a text book since he was removed as HoS by IBB.

Buhari became president and started talking about West Germany's president Merkel - that was the red alert number one then.

Those set of electorate chose to take Nigeria backward.

Buhari couldn't have won if not for the support of some self-acclaimed most sophisticated group in Nigeria.

Jagaband T. is the political god of the sophisticated group.

Jagaband went to Daura to invite Buhari on retirement after Jagaband considered Buhari's million upon million talakawa votes.

So we have a president elected mostly by the choice of the talakawa.

Jagaband's journey to invite Buhari was motivated by desire to send out the unusual crowd of Igboid group with Jonathan from Aso Rock.

Now an economy that was the most buoyant in Africa before May of 2015 has hit recession, with inflation never like before.

Whoever you are, you're a WISE MAN bro.

Are you trying to argue the truth?

Contrary to the slant given by these loud headlines, Okonjo-Iweala did not indict the Jonathan administration in which she served. Rather, she was referring to what many Nigerians already know; the strong opposition by some governors to the Jonathan government’s efforts to save in the Excess Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund sabotaged this important national priority.

“The governors’ criticism of Okonjo-Iweala’s many calls for the country to save for the rainy days are still fresh in the minds of Nigerians. This opposition culminated in the governors taking the Jonathan government to the Supreme Court in furtherance of their position that the Federal government had no right to “compel” them to save,”

The truth is that 2014 budget fiscal year ended on March, 2015.

jamesibor:
The Buhari administration on Wednesday said it had revived the e-wallet system for fertiliser allocation and distribution, a year after suspending it.
The Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, made the announcement after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, saying the policy would however be modified to address the challenges that made it unsustainable.
At the meeting, which held as the National Bureau of Statistics confirmed the nation was in recession, the government also approved a borrowing plan and solid minerals initiatives to stimulate the economy.
But the decision to restart the e-wallet fertilizer scheme represented another economic policy reversal by the Buhari administration, which had earlier dumped the initiative.
The e-wallet system was part of the Growth Enhancement Support scheme introduced by former Goodluck Jonathan administration to address the menace of middlemen in the fertiliser supply chain, which experts identified as a challenge for farmers at the time.
The policy, seen as one of the few successes of the administration, ensured the registration of about 4.2 million farmers within its first year. More than 10 million were said to have been registered at the height of its implementation.
Akin Adesina, who served as Minister of Agriculture between 2010 and 2015, when the scheme was initiated, said its success contributed to his elevation to the African Development Bank where he is now the president.
The policy was however suspended by the Buhari government in 2015.

The Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, cited accumulated debts to fertiliser and seed companies as well as corrupt practices that had contributed in making it costly and unsustainable.
“We had to look for money from our own sources at the federal level to bear the liabilities of states,” Mr. Ogbeh was quoted by The Punch as saying in July 2016.
“The GES payment was a debt we inherited from the previous administration. The total debt was N57 billion. When we arrived here, the agro-dealers said they couldn’t operate because they didn’t have bulk money to carry on with their businesses and so we applied to government and appealed for help to raise some money to pay the debt.
But the said Wednesday the Buhari administration will now resuscitate the policy.

FG and APC messed up this year's fertiliser distribution and it shows in the price of corn! It is 180k/ton in Nigeria whole it is less than 60k/yon in international markets even with how Maria has fallen in respect to US Dollars. The good thing is they quickly recognised the fact and moved to rectify it.

I dont know why we like beating a dead horse in this our country, a man had earlier in the day admitted that old age would limit his performance yet people are expecting the impossible. You can not blame such a man for telling the truth, the people to blame are the wicked self centered, greedy rogues amongst us who in a bid to cover their ill gotten wealth or to continue to feed on the hard sweat of our tax payers are ready to do anything at the expense of our dear country.

Yes, they are the thieves who jump from party to party, the ones that tear their party cards in order to scurry favor from the new leader, the ones that open their mouth and say anything just to belong. Today, they have all shut up, they are shocked that things are not going for them as they planned it. How I wish, Buhari would damn it all, after all he has nothing more to loose, he has seen it all and bring all past leaders and politicians to judgment, but we know he cannot because they are all same of the same. I will soon post a thread of all the statements made by our elites at the beginning even the ones we thought are geniuses, they are in hiding and afraid of their shadows because if the people should catch them outside by mistake they could be mobbed at the level the country is in right now.

What I have learnt so far in this Buhari govt is that a wrong policy or action could run a country aground. From the days of Buhari's first military govt, Nigeria's economy has been going through the rounds. All govts since then as far as I know had always started with economic challenges however the way and manner they go through it goes a long way, global oil price or not. The worst thing that can happen to a country is when a leader lacks diplomatic tact, says things anyhow as they come to his mouth it sends a wrong signal. That is why sensible leaders are slow to respond to questions they are not prepared for. When you go out and admit your country is fantastically corrupt who then do you expect to come and invest in a corrupt system.

When a leader spends a whole quarter of a year to arrange a shambolic list of ministers who's track records are questionable it sends a wrong signal. When so much noise all over but close observers know its business as usual.
Another leader thought of an idea that he felt was good but refused to implement it perhaps after deep thinking of the implications and from no where without asking questions you mop all the money in circulation and keep in CBN and everybody is looking at money sitting down idle and serious minded people are like really.

A real leader must have a strong patriotic zeal for change, he must be a man who has a lot at stake, he must be very visionary and focused, strong and energetic, fearless, courageous, able to take calculated risk for the overall benefits of the people, detribalised, God fearing, respectful, kind, creative, innovative, inspiring, dynamic, young and energetic. The kind of leader we need must be able to attract foreign investors though his PR jobs, He must hold his shoulder high up because we know we got it all in Naija, we are proud people because we lack nothing only bad leadership killing us from time immemorial.

As it stands right now the country is on a standstill for the next couple of years because nobody can no better than the president, why because they are all afraid to talk to him, they are all yes sir men and women.
