Why I got Arrested In Kenya

Terrible. For the policemen its kinda understandable (sic). They just want the money. I doubt its any different in Ghana. I hate to say this but the whole episode would have ended in two mins had the guy produced a few bucks. I think money is our religion in Kenya Plus ofcourse we have very serious concerns on terrorism. Once bitten, twice Chai...

For the Nigerian part, Kenyans, and most well informed Africans know that when a Nigerian is involved in a deal about money you are about to get ripped. Its even worse when the money is virtual money like Mpesa. That lady couldnt imagine losing all her float to some random Nigerian scammer. The problem is that most Kenyans cant differentiate a Ghanaian from a Nigerian. In fact, Kenyans think all West Africans are Nigerians, to some extent. Some Malians were arrested the other day printing millions of fake money, and Kenyans thought they were Nigerians. Like who else does that apart from Nigerians? I think the way to solve this one is if Ghainaians can try to speak differently than Nigerians. Or write letter G for Ghana on their foreheads when entering Kenya Kidding. I swear no Kenyan would mistreat a Ghanaian knowingly. Nigerians are just their own special breed who have to be dealt with great caution anywhere on this planet. As I said before, they are a few years away from evolving the world's first scam gene.

About the Westgate Mall, that mall is owned by some Israelis and we shall soon own all of it! They will sell the whole of it to Kenyans, shortly. We are actually doing this to many highly significant 'foreign' enterprises, not just Westgate. Either that or it will be demolished. The mall was actually on a list of malls to be demolished this year for 'sitting on riparian land', but they won a fierce court battle, though they had lost a previous one this same year. I just wonder if the dude chose to go there to bear witness to the site of the deadly terror attack. Some yrs back my dad used to tell me to avoid such places like Westgate just in case Jihadis come knocking because theres too much expats from Europe and America, their prime targets.

From an economic standpoint, Nyerere was a depressing story. Other than that, he was a great African statesman albeit with a very poor grasp of economics.

It's because a country like Japan has a large wave of cheap skilled labour that is able to provide affordable commodities ranging from fishing to technology sectors for other countries in the world.They tend to have more cheap exports than imports and that's why they lower their currency intentionally to make the export market cheaper for other countries because the cash inflow from the sale of exports is huge enough.

For Tanzania's case,your export market isn't even that effective to reach the other side of the world,leave alone the world but outside east Africa,the population of unskilled labour is too high to produce effective and standard goods.

The so called ujamaa policy has made your economy to be paralyzed with some poorly laid economic implementation,Tanzania tend to have more imports than exports despite their weak export market.This makes your lame country to have high cash outflows.
Interests rate is also a weighing factor here cause low interest rates attracts few foreign investors.

Kenya has 94 public dialysis centres, Tanzania has only 7, and less than 4cancer facilities...men we're incomparable

Tourism is all about earning cash.And the bitter truth is most of top notch tourists are overseas.Don't think all overseas folks are whites,and I never said promoting tourism is a form of worshipping a white man.What we are against is accepting everything what a white man tells you.Imagine you are a man and a white man tells you dress like a woman and u agrees just because he employed you.Then he gives u funny reasons...'we do for cancer awareness'. Yes, many Ethiopians are docile. But I am not. I know what Haile Selassie did. But there are few things I admire about him, if you have seen my posts about him. . . It shows that I am against him.

You can't tell me what he did cuz am an Ethiopian witnessing his works here in Addis Ababa. As an Architecture student, I so much admire his works on that and he used Amharic where ever he goes. He respected our culture and made others to respect it.

As an Orthodox religion follower, I am against him. As a nation of Ethiopia, i am against him cuz he is the reason why we fall under Mengistu dictatorship. When we were on drought, he was out there celebrating his birthday with his puppy with a big cake. You think it doesn't hurt knowing what he did?

But we have to keep focusing on the positive things people do, so we can learn from them. Drop their weakness but making sure it won't happen again.
