But I think it is called kopnomi (according to an akwa ibomite and it is usually done if you are very handsome in order to prevent other rival women from snatching you). I am not trying to cast aspersion on them.

I know of a calabar girl that I like but distance is a hindrance (and in relationships most times, out of site is out of mind for the women folks).

Most of what you said and op opinions are true but on a long run, if you want to marry from South south region, I think it is good to marry from Calabar followed by Akwa Ibom if you meet the home trained ones

If I had established financially and ready to marry, I would definitely marry from any of the two states especially Akwa ibom where I met some one.
