Well, first of all the FBI cannot ever be compared to the DSS.
The DSS has no Constitutional mandate to arrest citizens for suspicions of corruption.
That's what the police, the EFCC and ICPC are for.

Secondly, in Nigeria, I believe we do have an independent judicial commission that exclusively deals with judicial corruption or impropriety.

Thirdly, the FBI first investigates, gathers information that can lead to a conviction, indicts via grand jury, and then makes the arrest when they feel confident of a conviction.
The FBI doesn't arrest judges for the pleasure of the executive or to feed into political narratives.

For any who is ignorant of the rise of Hitler, the scenarios are being played out here.
One by one, different groups are being selected for intimidation and silencing.
