Onyi Echegini said she’s in her Last Semester at FSU and would be graduating by December so will definitely go Pro after that.. She also said she would love to play in the WSL than the NWSL…

Her main Position is the No.10 while she can also Play the No.8 and 11 as alternative Positions.. Right now she’s playing the no.10 at FSU..

Flourish Sabastine has today arrived in France to complete a move to French first division women's club Stade de Reims from Bayelsa Queens.

The 18-years-old forward is expected to be unveiled in the coming days subject to successful medical and agreement of terms.

She will be the third Nigerian player to join the club in the last 12 months after her FIFA 2022 Women's World Cup teammates: Rofiat Imuran and Oluwatosin Demehin.

So happy for her. Hoping this pulls through

Nice. On a side note, that left back Rofiat Imuran is a bundle of talent.

A lot of the english teams bar very few are currently on an all white team basis now. No room for black people. Heck, even their own black british women find it hard to break into WSL at the moment.

If you are not a white blonde woman, no space for you in the WSL at the moment grin

Its not a conspiracy theory. Look at France and spain, with the sheer amount of black women all over their league, compared to England

The authorites in England are desperate to keep the league as white as possible, subcontiously.

Don't think that's the issue. The English team probably have a better pay structure than other leagues. I think it's just easier to get teams in France or Spain compared to England.

Their Salary Structure is good though but they don’t really pay well (Manchester United a good Example) And their tax is on the high side too…. Anyway I don’t really fancy English Football, I will rather have her move to France or Spain..

I’m now feeling that our League ain’t doing much to develop their game and help them financially.. How will they perform well at the CAF Women’s Champions League when all the quality Players are going abroad after one or two good seasons…

At least I’m happy she isn’t going to lower Leagues like Belarus, Israel, Turkey, Greece and Co..

It’s good most of them do play their way to the top Leagues cause i mostly fancy those Playing in the top Leagues for the SuperFalcons…

I think our league is doing well and improving, we constantly supply the European league our players and there's nothing wrong about that

Sad one for her, She isn’t having the game time anymore, might move out of Gotham FC next season as the NWSL currently have two new Clubs joining the League so players seeking game time might join those two new Clubs..
...well, that might be her best option at the moment.

They Constantly supplies the European leagues but again their Performance at CAF Competitions isn’t as expected as this Players are always on the race to move down to Europe.. If the League here is Paying well they will definitely not be moving to Israel, Greece, Malta, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania and Co

Fact is that Onumonu is currently up against formidable choices at FC Gotham - Esther Gonzales and Lynn WIlliams are both starting strikers for Spain and the US respectively. There is also Midge Purce. She is not as good as either of them, so she is on the bench.

As rightly stated, her best bet is to mover to another team. And the sooner, the better before she is declared as surplus to the team and cut.
Deltamani:

When I look at their Club forward list you would see that it’s very tough to get game time especially at Gotham where they have Lyn William,USA international who’s a sure bet to start for them then the remaining spot.. At least the competition is tough…

Going to the World Cup Kanu isn’t inform till now. Hope they both find their rhythm back. At least we have a lot of options upfront for the SuperFalcons

Very funny unwritten rule if this is true. Or maybe the blacks feel they'll get brighter chances away.
