Oshoala will be 3 in a few week if she's playing. Why is she benched anyway? Salma will definitely break into top 5 before her 3rd world cup.

A team that she should be joining as a coaching staff.

shameless mama dragging shirt with her children.

She'll be like 50 years now o. Remember, her official football age is 40. her real age will be close to 50. 🤣

if she had anything to offer on the pitch in the first place, she will be signing for better and more serious NWPL team
Was about to say this. She should be joining as coaching staff. That's a beginner level for influence

Saying with a high degree of confidence, this Florida State team will beat any Nigerian Women's League team.
They are really a joy to watch - ball movement, finishing and intelligent play.

I think Tobi is being sarcastic o. No player in the NPFL earns this, highly doubt this is the case here.

🇿🇦Janine van Wyk has announced her retirement from the beautiful game of football after a glittering career.

Although, the 36-year-old who has 183 caps for South Africa, she will have another chance to play for Banyana Banyana when they face DR Congo this month in the Olympics qualifiers.

The matches will serve as send-off for Wyk who will in turn become Africa’s most-capped player, male or female .

This is definitely per annum, not per month.

Even NPFL players don't earn such per month. How much is the whole networth of Naija Ratels 🤣🤣

25 players make the roster for Ethiopia women’s team list for their double-header clash versus Nigeria in the Olympics qualifiers this month.

▪️First leg: October 25th in Addis Ababa
▪️Second leg: October 31st in Abuja

Watch out for Loza Abera she’s their Star Player, Since she got married I haven’t seen much of her game though..

Something has to be done about this plague of ACL injuries. Whether it's the boots, the turf, the colour of the socks... something has to change.

She’s Fearless, Not the quickest of Left Back but you would hardly catch her off her position… Trust me she’s the Best Penalty taker have ever seen for Club and SuperFalcon, She’s good with taking Set-pieces too but her Penalty exploits sets her aside… She never Miss❌

Professionalism of the women's game and more intensity in the women's game is a big factor.

Let me explain.

Before the last few years, 2/3 of women's teams all over the world were operated on part time basis. Meaning that the footballers had other jobs, and they probably only train very few times per week. So the intensity of the game was very low, and their games are usually slow when you watch it.

But since the last 5 years, most, if not all of the teams in the top tier leagues all over Europe and North America have become professional in nature, meaning that they are now full time. And the clubs now get their own dedicated training grounds for their women's teams.

They get to train like twice every day with 1 or 2 days of rest every week, except match days. They training hours are longer and more intense, since they are full time professionals and that is their only job.

The improved training ours expectedly helped improve the women's game more, as evidenced by the intensity and fitness of those games we now watch, because they now run more and the tactical inputs of games has increased as a result.

However, what sports professionals didn't take into account now is the negative effect of professionalism of the women's game.

More training and more game intensity results into more injuries because the women's body handles things differently compared to the men.

It's no coincidence that a rise in ACL injury in women's footballers coincided with the period when the women's game became professionalized.

People don't want to talk about this reason and have this conversation because they will be tagged as sexist or misogynistic. This conversation is in the same Whatsapp group as the conversation about reducing goalposts for women's football, or reducing the pitch size for women's football, as well as minutes played.
