Come and see new tactics this buyer used....he opened afternic account and regged Mr Octtopus same day he/she place the offer and put it for sale for 1200$ ....he/she did it so I will think he/she is a domainer and a newbie at that cause the names he/she has in their portfolio is complete rubbish..... screenshot below....the person did it so I will think they aren't serious ......

They sent offer 6 days ago 1500$ I reject they sent 1800 I reject they sent 400,500,1300..I kept rejecting..and countering close to my bin ..this went on for hours...I swear it got so tiring even afternic rep tell me they think it's fake offer...after they won't stop bothering and kept resending 1500 even tho I kept trying to make am move up like they did before they no gree...giving me headache....me I just accepted the 1500 since I felt it was a fake offer make they just gettat and afternic to ban the account when he/she doesn't pay.. so after 6 days of accepting the person pay I was shocked and surprised...

Also the domain had fast transfer on but since it was offer I had to transfer manually mhmm I never knew that...


I know I shoulda accept the 1800 but who cares jare it don go.... I do have another octopus sounding domain and its even better so I didn't have issue letting this go..its not that good...I shall miss the domain but not that much

Reason I regged this name was I first checked to make sure..

I wouldn't recommend research on trademark conflicts. This is because Trademark conflict is based on industry and country.

For example, if a name is already Trademarked in the Clothing category, it is possible that the same name can be used by a Food brand. We do not know which industry and country will the buyer be using the domain name. Besides, if the domain name is sold, trademark responsibility is on the buyer.

N/B: If you must go for already Trademarked domain name, avoid the popular ones (Apple, Facebook, Whatsapp, Fiverr, Google etc), because nobody will buy a domain name with such keywords. And if you already have a Trademarked domain, and the marketplaces like Afternic accept to list it for sale, don't contact the companies that already have trademark of your domain name directly.

This is my opinion, though, and I stand corrected by the bosses here.

I was forced to get a US PayPal account about 2 years ago because of making payment on PayPal from Nigeria

Now, PayPal is requesting I update my debit card. It seems they want it to match the name of the person on the account.

I have a foreign biz PayPal for several years now and I've never had any issues. I send, receive and do anything with it and no problem whatsoever. If you break the rules you get punished. It's as simple as that. I use my real name, my UBA Prepaid card, real phone number, house address, int'l passport...everything, real.

I don't use VPN. I dedicate one browser for it and only use Airtel that seems to have a stable IP when on it. Each time I want to login, I change the country flag to the country I'm using, I don't forget this because it's very important. You can't have issues except you receive fraud money or go against their terms.

I don't recommend anyone to use USA PayPal. The reason is obvious.
