The first research revealed that greater levels of atheism resulted from the frazzling of the posterior medial frontal cortex - the part associated with detecting and solving problems or reasoning and logic . So what else do you expect from them ? Insipid jokes , logical fallacies and derision . Their brains can't do any better lipsrsealed .

I've always known that something was wrong somewhere , how can someone subscribe to a position so illogical as atheism? So the research was very revealing cool

All you need to do is to ask the so called atheists if they believe they have a brain since they've not seen it, and if they say they do ask them if they believe it has been intelligently designed. shocked

to be fair, there are Christians who use it to evangelise

you have Jiggaz, Sonofthunder, Olaadegbu, Gboyee4fun etc who do evangelise very well and avoid atheists if they can help it

its just that these other Christian apologists are here to attack atheism not preach the gospel

Thanks for your observation but can I resist reaching out to the so called atheists? undecided

Bro , we've seen through the aforementioned researches that atheism is deleterious to the brain especially the part concerned with logic and reasoning . So don't expect a reasonable answer - they are bereft of such ability .

Atheism is a mental illness….
The insane men who founded atheism also have the greatest influence on Psychology and Psychiatry, Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud,

Thomas Henry Huxley and Nietzsche all shared certain common experiences and a definite psychological pattern is evident. Their early childhoods were marked by some form of spiritual training. They were men whose dominating, overbearing and even abusive fathers led them to rebellion and renunciations of God.
They endured cold, ruthless parents, grew up in an environment of bullying and abuse often done in the name of God.
These boys hated their fathers, these spiritual wounds festered a rebellion against a hostile father they identified with a hostile God. They made it their lives work to destroy the God who had come to symbolize their father.

Charles Darwin – he lived the greatest portion of his life in deep depression, there is a history of mental illness in his family. He believed his dad had the power of prediction; He had an endless catalogue of psychosomatic illnesses and lived as a semi invalid barely past thirty.

Thomas Henry Huxley- he detested his hot tempered father he suffered terrible bullying at school and had a terrible fear of insanity, which ran in his family. In fact his father died in an insane asylum. His hatred of God was rooted in the fear that the insanity in his family was caused by unclean spirits. He believed he had been poisoned by vapours from a dead body. After his only son dies of scarlet fever he detested God and believed he was cruel, hostile, angry and indifferent to suffering.

Nietzsche – Grew up with no male role model, he was a repressed homosexual and a victim of syphilis, depression and senility. He blamed his mom for the death of his father.

Sigmund Freud – he believed a female is a failed boy and he was obsessed with the incestuous conquest of his mother and rivalry with his dad. The desire to have sex with his mother and kill his father haunted his dreams. He believed women wanted sex with there fathers and stories of rape and molestation were fantasies. Instead of victims these women were villains.

These four prophets of atheism and many more all had powerful domineering fathers. They were fearful, weak, submissive kids. They all grew up with a history of headaches, depression , obsessive fears, extreme shyness, intestinal disorders, and made it there lives work to
destroy God who had come to symbolize there fathers.

This is very funny... U guys are desperate to cast atheism in some terrible light, it just proves that the growth of atheism in this forum is getting to you people... I mean 7 studies that don't prove anything. U focus on these and ignore actual statistics that matter like d one that says atheists are averagely richer than theists, they are likely to be more intelligent and a higher percentage of them occupy top positions in the country.. In fact, thanks to a particular theist on this forum, I now know that as at 1998 only 7% of leading scientists have any type of belief in God. That was almost twenty years ago...
Of course, we know that atheism doesn't increase your intelligence but u become an atheist because of your higher IQ... The poorest countries have almost 100% theists population and the poorest people are religious people
I appreciate your efforts at showing atheism as a non- promising concept but the prospects of religion are not any better, in fact, they are worse
The results of a study have unnerved even the most stoic scientists, physicians and researchers.

New information from a 22-year old study at a German University has many psychiatrists and psychologists throughout the world wondering if atheism is a sign or warning of a more serious mental illness already present or in the process of developing.

Doctors are searching for a gene
that might cause a correlation between serious mental illness and what they are calling “overt atheism.”

For the time being psychiatrists and research psychologists in Germany and Switzerland are calling this medical anomaly, “The Misfit Syndrome.”
Doctors at the University in Hamburg have been investigating the connection between religious beliefs and overall mental health and the results of the study have unnerved even the most stoic scientists, physicians and researchers.

Hehehe...who started the brainwashing initially? God? Man??
Any critical thinking mind doesn't need priests to know that there's no iota of truth in the bible.

There's no evidence ever to corroborate the bible as non fictitious work. It's just alarming that grown-ups still believe it to be the true word of God, while a 6 yr old boy (someone brought the account here) recognised the bible for what it is-- a fable
The common problem with almost all overt atheists is serious mental illness or an inclination to develop a profound mental illness by age thirty-five.

" The study have found that to be true in about 97% of the cases. You never have any medical study where 97% of your results are positive. It’s almost impossible to make a mistake with numbers like that.

Something is going on here and the common thread with almost all overt atheists is serious mental illness or an inclination to develop a profound mental illness by age thirty-five.
“It’s hard to accept something like this — something like the results of our study — in an enlightened society, but there is no getting around the scientific proof. Every variable and every model that has been used comes to the same conclusion.

People who openly do not believe in a creator
or a greater spirit and opt to debate it as part of their definition of self, are almost always suffering from a serious mental illness, and if they are not currently sick, the odds are nearly 100% that they eventually will become mentally ill. “

Atheists or people who are very strident about their atheism are heavily prone to mental illness:

“There were 17,809 people in the study. It was a very large model as far as psychological experiments go.” This came as quite a shock to us as we studied patient after patient.

“Overt atheism, in other words, atheism that is professed as a way of life by some individuals — a manifesto of sorts — was found to be a common component inherent to many people suffering from other forms of severe mental illness,” said Dr. Hans Zimmermann MD PhD

“We started to notice that many of our experimental volunteers — those who were defiantly atheistic in their beliefs — were also suffering from various forms of dissociate disorders and social adaptation manias.

This came as quite a shock to us as we studied patient after patient because for years we have been led to believe that religious zeal was often a patently obvious sign of mental illness, but in fact this is not the case. Quite the contrary.

“The individuals we have studied, especially those under the age of forty who actively participate in open debate about their own avowed atheism, or people who are very strident about their atheism are heavily prone to mental illness — and most of the illnesses are quite severe. This was not a handful of subjects who were studied, mind you. There were 17,809 people in the study. It was a very large model as far as psychological experiments go.”

Anyway thank God we exposed the ignorance of the researchers.

Lol grin This thread just made my day...Waiting for another fabriquer thread in the name of scientific research by kingebuka..he never disappoints, all in his twisted vendetta to deamean atheists.
Dr. Zimmermann’s studies also divide common mental illnesses into categories wherein The Misfit Syndrome is common or uncommon. He defines them here:
Much more serious ‘mental illness,’ such as schizophrenia and serious forms of socio-pathology are very often seen in the overt atheist with percentages approaching 100%. In other words, people who proclaim to be believers are more prone to the more mundane Generalized Anxiety Disorders or various phobias, but overt non-believers suffer from much more profound mental issues and socio-pathologies.

“The overt atheist can only efficiently associate with other overt atheists and when confronted with the companionship of ordinary people, they recoil in anger and hostility.

“A quick study of the Occupy Wall Street people — one where we used previously proven mathematical models — showed us that the most strident ‘occupiers’ were not only overt athiests, they were also suffering from various mental illnesses that one would normally see only in a psychiatric ward of a hospital and not on the streets of a major city. It’s amazing that there were fewer violent confrontations that we would see in a mental facility.

Hi Jonbellion, why do you resort to swearing and cursing when you hear that four highly educated scientists such as Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud, Thomas Henry Huxley and Nietzsche where all proven to be insane?

Sigmund Freud the father of psychoanalysis, was a physiologist, medical doctor, psychologist and influential thinker . This mad man was also one of the most influential scientists in the fields of psychology and psychiatry. Sigmund Freud had a strong sexual attraction to his own mother. he was obsessed with having sex with his own mother. ( No wonder the suffering of the masses of innocent victims continue.)

Charles Darwin, no one has influenced our fake knowledge of life on Earth as much as the English naturalist Charles Darwin. His most famous work, On the Origin of Species, explains the fraudulent theory of evolution by natural selection, providing numerous failed supporting examples.

Friedrich Nietzsche was a mentally unstable German philosopher of the late 19th century who challenged the foundations of Christianity
Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher who really hated Christianity and morality. Nietzsche had the impressive feat of becoming a professor by the age of 24. However, he was alienated by his peers and forced to retire by the age of 35. Nietzsche also wanted abandon philosophy in favor of gardening, but apparently failed at that as well.

Nietzsche also managed to contract syphilis at a brothel while he was still in college. Nietzsche began to believe himself to be Jesus, Napoleon, Buddha and other historical figures. Nietzsche’s family threw him into asylum

5 The prestigious Mayo Clinic reported the following on December 11, 2001:

“ In an article also published in this issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Mayo Clinic researchers reviewed published studies, meta-analyses, systematic reviews and subject reviews that examined the association between religious involvement and spirituality and physical health, mental health, health-related quality of life and other health outcomes.
The authors report a majority of the nearly 350 studies of physical health and 850 studies of mental health that have used religious and spiritual variables have found that religious involvement and spirituality are associated with better health outcomes

6 In 1894, the NY Times declared regarding atheism and suicide:

“ Dr. Martin urged that a great cause of suicide was atheism. It was, he said, a remarkable fact that where atheism prevailed most, there suicides were most numerous. In Paris, a recent census showed one suicide to every 2,700 of the population. After the publication of Paine's "Age of Reason" suicides increased. ”

The same NY Times article quotes the Reverend Dr. MacArthur describing suicide in the following manner:

“ It is mean and not manly; it is dastardly and not daring. A man who involves his innocent wife and children in financial disaster and disgrace and takes his life and leaves them to bear the burden he was unwilling to bear, is a coward.

The website Adherents.com reported the following in respect to atheism and suicide:

“ Pitzer College sociologist Phil Zuckerman compiled country-
mbridge Companion to Atheism, ed. by Michael Martin, Cambridge University Press: Cambridge, UK (2005).

In examining various indicators of societal health, Zuckerman concludes about suicide:

" Concerning suicide rates, this is the one indicator of societal health in which religious nations fare much better than secular nations. According to the 2003 World Health Organization's report on international male suicides rates (which compared 100 countries), of the top ten nations with the highest male suicide rates, all but one (Sri Lanka) are strongly irreligious nations with high levels of atheism. It is interesting to note, however, that of the top remaining nine nations leading the world in male suicide rates, all are former Soviet/Communist nations, such as Belarus, Ukraine, and Latvia. Of the bottom ten nations with the lowest male suicide rates, all are highly religious nations with statistically insignificant levels of organic atheism"

7 In September 2008, the Wall Street Journal reported:

“ The reality is that the New Atheist campaign, by discouraging religion, won't create a new group of intelligent, skeptical, enlightened beings. Far from it: It might actually encourage new levels of mass superstition. And that's not a conclusion to take on faith -- it's what the empirical data tell us.

"What Americans Really Believe," a comprehensive new study released by Baylor University yesterday, shows that traditional Christian religion greatly decreases belief in everything from the efficacy of palm readers to the usefulness of astrology. It also shows that the irreligious and the members of more liberal Protestant denominations, far from being resistant to superstition, tend to be much more likely to believe in the paranormal and in pseudoscience than evangelical Christians....

This is not a new finding. In his 1983 book "The Whys of a Philosophical Scrivener," skeptic and science writer Martin Gardner cited the decline of traditional religious belief among the better educated as one of the causes for an increase in pseudoscience, cults and superstition. He referenced a 1980 study published in the magazine Skeptical Inquirer that showed irreligious college students to be by far the most likely to embrace paranormal beliefs, while born-again Christian college students were the least likely

This all proves that all religions have made great contributions to society.

That explains why atheists resort to swearing and cursing when you hear that four highly educated scientists such as Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud, Thomas Henry Huxley and Nietzsche where all proven to be insane?

The common thread with almost all overt atheists is serious mental illness or an inclination to develop a profound mental illness by age thirty-five.

“We have found that to be true in about 97% of the cases.
People who openly do not believe in a creator or a greater spirit and opt to debate it as part of their definition of self, are almost always suffering from a serious mental illness, and if they are not currently sick, the odds are nearly 100% that they eventually will become mentally ill. “

Atheism is a mental disorder or illness :

By now we all realize the terrible inner suffering of the atheist/agnostic/deist.
God will not be mocked !

The results of this study have unnerved even the most stoic scientists, physicians and researchers.

New information from a 22-year old study at a German University has many psychiatrists and psychologists throughout the world wondering if atheism/ deism, agnosticsm is a sign or warning of a more serious mental illness already present or in the process of developing. Atheists or people who are very strident about their atheism are heavily prone to mental illness:

“There were 17,809 people in the study. It was a very large model as far as psychological experiments go.” This came as quite a shock to us as we studied patient after patient.”

Atheism is a mental illness….
The beginning of atheism.
The theist asserts God's existence; the atheist denies God’s existence, while the agnostic professes ignorance about it.

The terrible suffering of atheism, agnosticism, deism has ended. All this flourished for hundreds of years during the growth of fake churches.

The work of true churches was to demonstrate Gods love which is miraculous healing and more for the benefit of mankind. In the absence of this evidence, atheism and other isms have been born.
