The need for us to be sober and watchful unto the very end cannot be over emphasized.

Every day we are buffeted with the cares of life that tries to drown out the still small voice that constantly appeals to us to keep watch.

I am creating this thread to serve as a kind of rendezvous for all of us faithful watchers who are looking anxiously for the return of our BLESSED GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

These 2 verses are futuristic, they are telling us about what will happen upon the return of Christ. Jesus is the Prince of peace, there is no peace in the world yet.

Christ is risen from the dead, the breath of God is inside him already. We are waiting for his apocalypse

You cannot build doctrine on a single verse. The Prince of Peace will bring peace to the world, it is upon his apocalypse and enthronement that the government of the world would rest on his shoulders.

We will continue to comfort ourselves with the infallible unfailing word and promise of our God, however long it takes, the Lord himself will give us the grace to continue to stand firm, and then when he is revealed, he will bless us beyond our understanding or comprehension.

God please give us this grace to stand firm and watch carefully and patiently
