it's just a reflection of the tines we live in. sexual immortality at its peak. The urban girls are not left out just that they have access to contraceptives and abortion than their rural counterparts. 1 Like 1 Share |

Some people in rural areas(especially ladies) do not even know the importance of virginity, they are so gullible and dont even know the circumstances that lead to pregnancy, some believe in "touch and get belle" 1 Like |

The truth is that we celebrate sexual recklessness in this generation. When you talk about chastity some persons will like to trivialise it. They want us to see keeping your virginity as unnecessary. We promote seductive and suggestive appearances, even here on nairaland. Seun and lalasticlala, keep pushing seductive postures and photographs to the homepage, hence glorifying such evil. Celebrating baby mamas. How do we condemn an evil trend when nairaland and other social media keeps celebrating baby mamas. Those who need to be sober are being given unnecessary media space. Imagine....... Baby mama in London. That's news for nairaland. 7 Likes |

Tolupride: That is why the Muslim north marry off their girls early; it is better they bear their children under the respectability of marriage than produce them out of wedlock, as Bastards - yet some ppl are abusing us as backwards and paedophiles - making reference to extreme examples as the norm to justify their insults. This is what you get from abandoning your moral compass and adopting wayward ways in the name of advancement - skimpily dressed young school girls fornicating left right and centre/ doing runs and lots of baby mamas. 1 Like |

From my own point of view, too many things can lead to unwanted pregnancy, poverty is the least attribute. The most common curse of teenage pregnancy in 21st century are exposure of social media, lonelliness and lack of sex education. Africans are learning when it comes to teenage pregnancy, In US and europe the number of teenage pregnancy is alarming. Its not all about urban or rural area. 1 Like |

Oh God bless this OP for me. I could still remember travelling down to my village sometime in 2015 and I saw my friend's sister (not related by blood though); she was heavily pregnant. This is a girl my friend and I believe had great potentials, she was humble, inteligent and always shy. I was shocked to see her in that condition when I payed them a visit, and to think ozofu might just be around 17 to 19 years was what really baffled me. It is really sad that we are in a world where evil is white washed and called good, where we think assimiliating to our enviroment the way it is, can as well be normal and give reason's like we are in a jet age,smH. 1 Like |
