While I don't support the idea of federal agencies collecting budgetary allocation for rent without using it as appropriated, however Fayose should consider and remember that most of the workers in the state are Indigenes of his state.
If he's fighting the federal, he should frustrate his people who will be left in the open.

Remember Nigeria runs a federal system of Governt, where lazy states like Ekiti depend majorly on the centre for help.

There were grants and supports given by the presidency to Ekiti State, that weren't statutory. If Fayose go this line, he would suffer for of.

The federal government controls the police, Armed forces, FRSC, NSCDC, Etc. So Fayose can't even use the police to arrest anyone.

pls I want to understand you, what is he fighting the Fed for since the rent are paid in some states and the money for it is provided by the budget, so should he an efulefu governor, who doesn't know his right to his people?
What about the yield of the rent in the life of his people?
