If you acknowledge him as just a prophet then that is all he will be to you but if you acknowledge him as your personal Lord and Saviour then he will save you from iniquity.

Jesus himself said that he is the Son of God and made mention of the Holy Trinity several times in the Holy Bible. A man also bowed before him to worship him and he did not chastise the man because the man was worshipping God. So, why do you ignore this?
