Not really a palatable response from the presidency but he isn't far from the truth. There are of course people who are genuinely aggrieved by the situation of the country. Then you have the majority of them who are actually still in election mode. The same things they are saying about Buhari and the APC today is what they started saying even before Buhari was sworn in. They started saying those things the very day Buhari won the election, said them the day he got sworn in, said them 1 month, 6 months, 1 year into his tenure and are saying the same things today. That is the fact. 80 percent of those wailing are still on election mode. much love to the genuine wailing 20 percent.

Speaking in an interview with Lagos Talk 91.3fm, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said those who are calling for the protest are people who supported the last government and are still pained that they lost the last election.

Yoruba has a saying that if you all sleep and put your head in the same direction, then you are all foolish

Is Femi Adesina indirectly calling 180 million people foolish

Femi Adesina I know that you are a messenger but...

One question these people have to ask themselves is that " where was all the campaign talks"??
See Trump, he is effecting all he said during campaign, yet after 2 years our president is yet to fully accomplish just one campaign promise.

I hope Nigerians would learn in 2019

The presidency has reacted to the February 5th proposed Nationwide protest which singer, 2face Idibia and other celebrities have come out to support.

Speaking in an interview with Lagos Talk 91.3fm, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said those who are calling for the protest are people who supported the last government and are still pained that they lost the last election.

"This is a country of about 180 million people. It is impossible for 180 million people to think the same way. Yoruba has a saying that if you all sleep and put your head in the same direction, then you are all foolish because you would be breathing in one another's mouth and lungs. Dont forget the last election and how it went. Somebody scored 12.5 million votes, another scored about 15 million votes. There are some people who are still in that election mode. They have not gotten out of it and till today, they are still living and "rheumatisizing" about the past. What they don't know is that that past is gone and gone forever. Majority of those calling for the protest are still in election mode. Majority of them are people that have resolved not to see anything good in this administration simply because the man they wanted lost at the polls"he said

Even though I supported Buhari in the last election, I think this guy is a complete retârd! Who cares about who wins election? The issue now is that things are not working out and people want real change.

This Adesina sef. He is still in election mode as well. The views expressed by Femi Adesina on a radio programme cannot equal to reaction of the FG on the planned protest. People reserves the right to protest against bad government policies.

How can Femi be so dull?.
He sees Nigerians suffering in the cities, towns and villages and he's ascribing the protests to the general elections that had long being held and forgotten.
