Please I need clarification on how one knows which office is processing your application. I have checked for mine but I keep getting linked to that generic site "visa offices " which states countries and their processing offices. For Nigeria, it's pegged Lagos and I doubt that especially when I see posts like yours. Are are you an inland applicant?

You can only know by emailing Ottawa.

No need, found my answer. For future reference, anybody that needs an answer to that my question can check Fusion23's comments. He made a statement about it in passing. Thanks Fusion23 for all your inputs. Very insightful

Ethiopian airways, but only to Toronto

book Toronto to Ottawa with air canada or westjet yourself it will make so much sense than booking to Ottawa with a foreign airline

so lets say you landing 12pm in Toronto book like 3pm or 4pm from Toronto to Ottawa

Ok. Thanks.
But how do you book Egypt Air? The airport selection tab on their site doesn't seem to work. I'v tried different browsers. Is anyone else having this problem?

Ok. Thanks for the info.
So if I am landing with my CORP for the first time, that means the initial processing will be at Toronto? and considering that, how much time do you advice to leave in-between for the connection flight to Ottawa?

ALL Nigerians issuance of PR is handled by the Ghana Office

. I don't think Accra VO is absolute for Nigerians. I have seen some Nigerians that got London VO and a few others that got Ottawa. I agree though that a far greater proportion are processed in Accra.

I'm sure you are not in Nigeria that's why u r sounding so relaxed. I've never seen an outland PR applicant that doesn't want his application processed speedily. This wait can be killing because of that constant fear of rejection

If you are in London , Iraq, Somalia Kuwait and can establish 1 year of stay in such country, it will be handled by the Visa Office designated for that country irrespective of your Nationality.

You are absolutely correct.

Pre-express entry applicants had to wait for years..i think my timeline was 3years and heaven did not fall. I have also met Nigerians in Canada that waited over 7 years..the pre 2010 applicants. Make people relax oo. Canada is not running away. What is rightly yours would eventually be yours...lol

Depends on the Price mine was Saskatoon which they do not go .
So if you forced the booking u might pay 700K
instead of 400 to toronto

if u pay exta 200$ and bagage at worst 50$

250$ is better than 300K difference.

I think they have flights to Ottawa

Ottawa is the Capital so please check Ethiopian airways they will have connecting flight to Ottawa too and they pass toronto

I think they have a connecting flight tru USA.

So in less than 3 hours you should be done. With clearance

Hello All,

Please I want to know more about Corner Brook, Newfoundland, in terms of job prospect and the town generally. My campus is in Grenfell campus and most people I know are in St. Johns, please any information would be appreciated.
Secondly, I am looking for accommodation for September, so if anyone has any or looking for a female roommate, I would really appreciate.

Most Banks (99%) will not give based on one way ticket.
Return ticket is often cheaper than one way I the long run. You can always change the return leg and keep it open for a year. You never can know when you might need it to attend owanbe

This is usually due to ignorance at the branch level. Get them to seek clarification from their Head Office. Nigerians with dual citizenship or legal residency of other countries are entitled to PTA on one way tickets as long as you are going to that country.

To be fair, the CBN regulation did not say anything about return ticket.

https://www.cbn.gov.ng/out/2017/ccd/circular%20on%20new%20policy%20on%20pta%20school%20fees.pdf

Neither did GTBank...
https://twitter.com/gtbank/status/837317701068599296?lang=en

So I guess if they refuse PTA application at the branch, I'd be within my rights to escalate... somehow.
