@jarus i also follow him, i know the series he quoted your "private" mail to him. You said "our" mind. You too can be a celebrated columnist because i also wait for your facebook notes, and it also make sense, give it a trial. You can go beyond the "letter to editor" you normally do

Sorry to correct you, I have gone beyond letters-to-the-editor since more than 5 years now. What I write is 'Opinion' or 'Commentary', full half page, and on two occasions, Daily Sun and Leadership have given my articles 'Guest Columnist' status, the ones Atedo Peterside, Nasir el-Rufai and Eddie Iroh are given. An higher education-focus magazine in Abuja has also just approached me for permanent column writing in their new outfit, which is expected to hit the newsstand soon.

Started reading him in the 90s, For some reason, I think he writes kinda child-like.

I used to like him, but I now find him too verbose and his writings are replete with mistakes unbefitting of the Chairman, Editorial Board, The Guardian Newspapers.

Did you see Banky's reply to his vitriol. Banky seems to have done way better than him in passing his message across. It looks as if Banky was actually schooling him. I felt bad for him.

One guy I like is Dele Olojede.

I read that Banky's response to one of Abati's articles. It was crap abeg!!!

Meanwhile, I believe Reuben Abati is overrated.
