Nigerians should think inwards at 62 God has blessed us with good population, fertile land, good mineral resources and high percentage of intelligent people. How did we find ourselves in this stage of poverty & mismanagement. Way forward, agriculture is the foundation of every successful nation that is doing well and agro processing is the bed Rock. Our farmers are trying but what percentage of the produce goes into processing? More than 40% get spoilt ,25% get stale before sold In our little ways we should find a way to do agroprocessing even in small scale or household scale level commutatively it will go a very long way & amount of large volume of our agro produce been processed. Agro processing is the way out of poverty surely the country do Produce more than enough to feed it's populace but bulk of it is wasted due to lack of processing for storage. Eg help people to write book,be seminars/ training facilitator, help to install machines or repair machines, help to set up farms, help to solve problems/ challenges in Businesses, help to write business plan and feasibility study, agency services etc If you concentrate on any or all of the above 3 categories even with little prayers surely money must flow consistently to you. Steps To Processing a) Peeling machine or manual labourers If you're doing small scale or starting small with low capital then employ local women to peel the cassava tubers for you But if you want to do large scale then l can help you to fabricate cassava peeling machine which will doing the peeling & washing at the same time. b) Slicer or manual labourers For smaller scale the local women can also help you to do the slicing to small pieces For large scale l can help you to fabricate mechanical slicer that will do all the slicing in a few minutes or hours depending on the quantity on ground. c) Dryer or Sun dry If you're doing small scale and it is not in the raining season then your best bet is to sun dry. Another way out is to start producing & selling daily or weekly food items or items use for making or cooking food I like to be more detail & been specific For example sry grounded pepper Everyday we African or Nigerians like taking pepper at least in a meal once Do you know that just a company produces the dry grounded pepper you see in indomie . The market for hot dry grounded pepper is huge in 9ija even at the local markets . So what do you need to start the business.
