Juliana7:It depends on your location don't you think? There are two of their offices I know of along Mile 2 - Badagry Expressway; One is located at Agric Bus/Stop just after Barracks, and the other is located at Agbara Bus/Stop. Hope it's along your route? |

Olamytea:It's at the newly built shopping complex at the bus/stop. Just walk straight in and ask of Agritropic. I think it's shop 21. |

Are the neem oil and supergro made up to two litres with water? Or is it just the supergro/neem oil that you spray on the plants |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by jidestroud(m): 6:44pm On Mar 28, 2019 |
Kehfie:No ooooo. Two litres how?!!! For the neem oil, all I used is a tablespoon in the two litre spray bottle and also a tablespoon of supergro to act as my liquid soap. (Helps in the oil dispersal) |

My tomato leaves are folding up.. I don't know what can cause it |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by jidestroud(m): 2:54pm On Apr 13, 2019 |
vosquare:Mind uploading a picture? Meanwhile, there's little or nothing to worry about when your tomatoes leaves or folding up. I do experience it once in a while especially when I forget to water the plants over a period of time. Then I noticed it all boils down to water moisture issues. Although some varieties are notorious for curling up . Nevertheless, feed your tomatoes very well and observe all the necessary guides in growing them. Above all, know your variety, it gives possible outcomes to a certain degree. Peace. |

vosquare:This ain't leaf roll if what I am seeing is actually what I am seeing Nevertheless, it still looks like a withered plant due to lack of water or soil root issues!!! Did you apply fertilizer lately? or any applications of any thing lately? |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by vosquare: 9:46am On Apr 14, 2019 |
jidestroud:Water is not the issue cause I use drip irrigation method and I just buried npk like 4 days ago |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by FMCASH(m): 11:35am On Apr 14, 2019 |
vosquare:might be the NPK if closer to the plant. If your irrigating tank its for you plant only, fertigation is your best bet. |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by vosquare: 11:57am On Apr 14, 2019 |
FMCASH:I don't use tank for the drip irrigation... It's straight from the bole hole direct to the pipe If it's npk, I guess the thing will be generally and not one plant in a bed |

jidestroud: Please, the Agritropic office, is it the one before Ojo barrack?.. Their phone number will be appreciated, please. And how many seeds are in the 5g murano... Any idea? |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by Yampotatocarrot(m): 12:48pm On Apr 14, 2019 |
jidestroud: Considering how many crops you planting, will you still call it a garden? |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by jidestroud(m): 12:59pm On Apr 14, 2019 |
vosquare:Like he rightly pointed out, most likely the Fertilizer applied, and yes, it doesn't have to cut across for all. Could just be that particular one. Moreover, when did it occur? Was it before the application or after? Nevertheless, it's nothing serious I insist. If it's just a plant like you right said, why not uproot and discard. But while at that, let's have look at the roots for further evidence (just a picture of the root structure will do). Happy Sunday |

Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by Yampotatocarrot(m): 3:31pm On Apr 14, 2019 |
jidestroud: Thanks for the quick reply. I'll visit the place to get the murano to mix with the Cu99 already growing in the farm. Please, estimate number of seeds in the 5g, any idea? |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by FMCASH(m): 3:57pm On Apr 14, 2019 |
vosquare:remove the root and snap for better diagnosis. If its NPK you will see the end stem thin(burnt) |
Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by FMCASH(m): 4:00pm On Apr 14, 2019 |

vosquare:Evening, thanks for the feedback. Going through the pictures and the former, your tomatoes case like I said earlier is physiological. There's a disconnect somewhere. You initially said one plant in a bed, but you also claim its been occurring before the NPK application. Do you know even too much water and nitrogen application causes leaf roll?, so likewise root damage. From your picture, I could also see lots of root initials or bumbs on your plants. This speaks volume about the plant. Try not over watering the plant, what fertilizer are you applying? What variety did you plant by the way? Good news by the way, it surely ain't a viral disease. Olaleyeabdullah:Tomatoes and swamps areas is a big NO!!!. In the real sense, tomatoes don't even need much water at all. |
