Many men of God have fallen to sin of immorality today because they refused to flee every appearance of evil; they believed they are filled up with Holy Spirit.
One or two giudes will help out
1. Do not counsel the opposite sex in a confined place; let the door be opened and ensured other people are around.
2. Do not be emotional to the point of touching the opposite sex during counselling by touching or hugging.
3. Do not visit the opposite sex in the house when you know nobody may be around
4. Do not invite the opposite sex to your hotel room or home or church when there is no third party.
5. Pray without ceasing and not to enter into temptations, Matthew 26:41.
God will make us all fit for His heavenly kingdom and help us to reign with him.
He that thinks he stand; let him take heed lets he falls - 1 Corinthians 10:12.

Two major reasons I can think of
1) IGNORING OUR WEAKNESSES
A wise man once said luck can get you to the top but only character can keep you there.
Many of us neglect those weaknesses we currently have in our lives thinking they do not matter and we forget that these things can bring about our downfall when we get to the top.
The scriptures below are self explanatory.
“Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that spoil and ruin the vineyards [of love], While our vineyards are in blossom.”

Dead flies make the oil of the perfumer give off a foul odor; so a little foolishness [in one who is esteemed] outweighs wisdom and honor.

2) FEELING SUPER HUMAN OR ABOVE SIN.
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The above scripture says it all. Most of our Pastors get to a point were they feel they have their own grace and it can sustain them. I refer to this as the point of folly. God's grace is our sustainer and we are suppose to check ourselves daily to ensure we remain on the right track.

Remember the higher the fall the harder and louder it is.

But for a drunkard and smoker and sinner, they are already in d devil's pocket and he tosses him anytime he wants so no need to fight him.
For a cool and calm Christian, he is no threat to d kingdom of darkness so d devil does not fight him much. But d day u liberate one soul from d kingdom of darkness dats d day u will feel a bit of wat pastors feel

Most times, viewing, watching or listening to the wrong things build up dirty imaginations. That will birth more imaginations, then cravings, then lust. Don't be surprised the kind of videos in some of our phones(not just d pastors). Immorality is very hard to fight, it's best to flee, because, it's always complex

Because most of them are very aware of the fact that religion is a make-believe and no salvation exist anywhere and that God is a metaphor, sarcasm, simile or hyperbole. Pastoral duty for them is a means to an end, a career with its wonderful pecks.

So while you wonder while the pastors are becoming immoral, we know it's normal for every human being to lust after the flesh. No biggie, anyone can lust, there's nothing special if a pastor does it.

I don't know why people quickly talk about sexualities each time "immorality"' is mentioned. There are are countless forms of immorality from drunkenness, gossip, animosity, jealousy, antagonism etc.

Sexuality is a natural instinct. Apart from weird sexual habits like bestiality, Sodomy and rape, I don't consider consensual sexual activity by two adults of opposite sex as immoral.

Most of the great names in the bible both male and female had at certain points gotten involved in certain extramarital sexual activity. Yet the present day Christians makes u feel ostracized when they see you in the company of the opposite sex.

So

Doers of the word of God are the real men of God.

Any Christian that cannot control his or her urges is a weak one.

About being tempted, they have the desires in them, that's why they keep falling.
"Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away." James 1:14

People are equally beings, who have wills to do good or bad. Definitely, ascribing the term, 'man of God' , to our fellow human being, is very wrong. God is divine... but man has free will!

Devil

Marriage doesn't cure lust, if it did, adultery woundn't exist.
Dont view marriage as a sex release.
Self control is still a requirement.
Lust doesn't care if you are married or single.

You may be Solomon in wisdom or David in praise or Abraham in faith or Joshua in war BUT if you are not Joseph in disipline you will end up like Samson in destruction...

There's actually no need for this long epistle. They should simply start living life on principle rather than expediency.

They're human so I don't expect anyone to be perfect, the issue is some of these 'men of God' who are hypocrites that constantly castigate others and are quick to remind them of their transgressions but do worse behind closed doors

Because the end is so near, so satan is on the loose to lure as many as he can. If your faith is on a sinking sand you're devoured by him. Also, there are some MOGs who are wolves in sheep clothing; these are agents of the devil out to tarnish the image of Christianity. To overcome these snares of darkness, walk in spirit and not by sight; then you can discern between God and baal.

Keep money and women. Any man that can overcome these two will be great in God's work.

Most of our pastors today lack discipline.

Many think that it's very difficult to become great, is not as half difficult to become great as to maintain greatness. Deal with the tendencies for weaknesses and secret sins hiding in your Character while you were yet nobody. When you get to your aimed Height, your Character would either make or mar your sustainance.

We shouldn't mix these things up. Many people who claim to be men of God are not actually called by God. "Mechanics do not allow us to know mad people any more"

Many of the claims are just propaganda to tarnish the image of pastors.

not because God is a metaphor, but just like every other human that don't obey God, yes man don't delight in the words of God now look at the world carefully and see the fruit of disobedience

while some might have lived loosely without the mind to draw caution, some cases abound of ladies that are drawn to anointed men and would not be satisfied unless they tap them. all men with a crowd pulling status in any field is at risk of this.
