Protected by which government? shocked The same SE governors whose government could not protect their citizens from the Fulani herdsmen when they came calling along the border communities of Enugu state & other areas in the South-east?

By the way, every government can enact immigration laws that would make it difficult for foreigners to live or do business within their borders. Didn't you hear of the Ghana-Must-Go episode in the seventies, that saw a lot of Ghanaians expelled from Nigeria?

I find it difficult replying some messages without sounding insulting...

1)Just imagine ignorance...do Governors control any security outfit? So how were they to fight herdsmen?

2)Imagine someone's reasoning in 21st century...Plz shift...why have you not evicted MTN, ShopRite etc with all the xenophobia in South Africa?

It is easy to respond to messages without sounding insulting. Governors do not control security outfits but they have direct access to those who control the security outfits of their respective states, and governors have security votes. What have they done with such votes? shocked

As for immigration policies, guy please go and check. Every country is free to enact immigration policies to keep out unwanted nationals or foreign citizens of other countries, if it so wishes. Have you forgotten that Trump exercised this prerogative in the US recently with respect to some Muslim countries?

As for sending MTN & Shoprite packing, if they contravene any laws of Nigeria that warrants them to be sent packing, please be rest assured that the govt shall do so, if it deems fit. Don't forget that when incidents which affect foreign interests occur, there is a lot of high-level diplomatic politics that takes place behind the scenes, to protect the business interests and citizens of such foreign countries that are resident in the country. sad

You should take your own advice first & source for common sense in your area. When people like you are unable to use facts and logic to prove a point, they resort to insults. Typical. sad
