Nine verses earlier in the same chapter (Leviticus 19:19) the people of Israel were also commanded to avoid mixing fibers in garments:

Therefore, if someone chose to consider a tattoo sinful, then they would have to toss all their cotton/polyester clothing too! It also say do not cut ur beard ...and hair among other things...

For example, it could symbolize a Biblical truth which represents your relationship with Christ....
To me ...Tattos are artwork .....It is beyond doubt that tattoos are NOT sinful and that Christians expressing their faith with some ink under their skin have NOT succumbed to Satan's wiles (at least, not because of the tattoos).
Yet, let us remember that just because we are allowed to be tattooed, doesn't mean that this is what is best for everyone..... St. Paul tells us that we need to be careful that our actions do not lead others away from the faith....it is up to each and one of us to deside if it ir right for us or not ...It is whats in ur heart that will be juged by God ...

I would like to explain Matthew 5.17-18 which many people, even the so-called priests, are misinterpreting. To fulfill never means to add or continue.. Christians today are not bound, obliged or compelled to obey the laws or observe the rituals and practices of Old Testament religion. "And the Lord said unto Moses, write thou these words; for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and Israel." (Exodus 34.27.) Both testaments are from God; why then has God made us worshippers under the New Testament only? We shall be judged by the New Testament. (John 12.48.) In Matthew 17.1-5, God taught us that we should not listen to Moses and Elijah. but to His Son, Jesus Christ. Please, I advise you to read all of 2 Corinthians 3. It would help you know why we are not under the first covenant, because the letter which is the first covenant kills; the spirit which is the second covenant quickens, that is, gives life.....If we are living under the Old Testament Law, why is it that there are so many priests who are not from the tribe of Levi? The Old Testament declared that the Levites formed the priesthood. "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law." (Hebrews 7.12.) "He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second." (Hebrews 10.9.) I therefore conclude that we are not living under the Old Testament law because we would be judged by the New Testament only. (John 12.48)
