Guy you can promote the image of your glorified village Abakaliki, but never put Ibadan and Abakaliki in the same sentence. Even your most developed city in east Enugu is miles away from Ibadan in development

Glorified village of Abakaliki
is not about landmass...I have been to Ibadan ..95% of the so called size are all slums.. so is better having a smaller but nice city like Abakaliki

it is development not beauty. ibadan should easily dwarf all state capitals in nigeria in this term exception of ikeja or port - Harcourt.

Did you just say nice city of Abakaliki? The only thing that makes Abakaliki a city is because it's capital of a state. Mind you, I have been to Abakaliki many times, trust me, I know what I'm saying when I call it glorified village. Apart from New layout, GRA and government house region, other parts of Abakaliki is like a typical village or town. So don't ever put Ibadan and Abakaliki in the same sentence. And you saying 95% of Ibadan is slum means that you have neither been to Ibadan or you don't know Ibadan

Imagine posting a picture of a slum from the south west as that of Abakiliki. Particularly in the first picture, zoom it and see what the people on the right side of the street are wearing -agbada and yoruba cap. Na wa for you o.

Most of you don't even know your region. You all live in Lagos or other cities in southwest and have zero knowledge of what's on ground in your southeast region. Since you doubt my picture, have a look at the link before for the source.

It is disrespect of the highest order to be comparing Owerri, Abakaliki to Ibadan...
And for these half baked illiterates, most beautiful is different from developed. Johannesburg and Cairo are Africa's most developed cities while Kigali, Cape Town are Africa's most Beautiful cities...receive sense, folks!

C'mon Shatap dere!

Who told you Kigali is more beautiful than Johannesburg or Cairo?
We applaud Kigali because it rose from the ruins of genocide so quickly, not that is is anything near the cities you mentioned.

Now, believe me Ibadan is about the ugliest city in West Africa. You just can't find an uglier place.-Fact.

Fools everywhere on this thread. The only time I get to see those brown roof area in Ibadan is when I take short cuts on my way to Lagos so I can get to the express faster through Mapo side.

The ancient part which is the brown roof area is very tiny compared to the Modern parts of Ibadan just that the ancient brown roof part is set on a hill so you can easily see it from any part of the city.

Ibadan and Kano where the only two cities in Nigeria pre colonial era. The reason why the SE is devoid of so much brown roof is because of the Civil war, the North too has huts as their proof of pre colonial era. Ask yourself where were you leaving before the white men came or you don't have cities before they came?
