There has always been water scarcity in every Nigerian state
cross river state is among the lucky state that its water board corporation has been functioning for a long time, till the shoki governor Ayade came on board

is it not borehole you are using ..Even Tinubu uses borehole in his bourdillon house ..except you think borehole is public utility water but I hope you know it's not ..My house has water but it's from borehole and I don't consider that being potable water availability

There's no scarcity in State Housing or Marina. Stop lying.

Nobody get borehole for the streets?
There are few commercial boreholes in the city. Before now,Calabar had a good and functioning water board corporation and many residents relied so much on the organization to give them water.I believe this is the sole reason why there are few commercial boreholes in the city.

Lol. Same here o. Haven't even used their service in Lagos before. Before I went to Calabar for service too, the last time I used water from the Water Board was in the late 90s when I still lived in Osogbo.

This is a made up story.
1. Nobody uses government water system anymore.. There is borehole water everywhere
2. Even if that was true then where did the satchet water companies get their own water from
3. Its raining like steady now in the south south.
This story is a big lie Mohammed

They never see anything sha!!
Come to Asaba Delta State, the people provide their own bolehole; buy fuel at N145/litre to power their generator to pump water and "the scattered teeth, the goat teeth" Governor Okowa has concluded plans to start charging levy to the people for having borehole.

Have you been to Calabar before? I lived in Calabar for 1 year as recent as 2014 and depended solely on water from the Water Board. Before this scarcity, the Board have been quite effective in supplying water to homes.
2. There are a few people in Calabar who have boreholes in their homes. The boreholes are basically for the few hours or days when there's no supply.
3. Did you read the part where the director said they're currently carrying out repair works in the agency? So, it has nothing to do with rain.

the city is well wired with water pipes. Hence, the need for borehole lacked significance
