it's a nice step anyway,but the main reason efcc don't like doing this kind of thing is because it limits their power in court. the accused knowing all of these can quickly tell his lawyers and they will find good defence. You now see why efcc lose case easily. we still have a long way to go in this country. Nigerians don't believe in the institution again,if not..I see no reason why they should say all that to convince the irate youths. it's commendable anyway as it will restore confidence back in the system

Of all the submissions I see, yours really resonates with my thinking. It is ironical that these shameless, probably paid, mindless and idiotic youth will organise a protest in favour of someone you never knew his source of wealth. This is probably due to the crumbs they receive from his table.

We are unfortunately in a clime where people reasoning has been stunted. I mean, right on this topic on NL, while some are more concerned about the issue of a non-SS zonal director, some are concerned that either an equal/commensurate arrests in not made in other zones (as if prosecution of crime should also follow a quota system), while others lazily claim "media trial" for any arrest made by EFCC. It is unfortunate that all these cateogries of people describe are not even interested in the essence and basis of why people are arrested in the first place. Did they commit a crime? Did they amass their monies legitimately? Did they betray the trust bestowed upon them? Did they take what belongs not to them?

It is also not too smart that the Zonal director let out about the whole EFCC's arsenal on this matter. Normally, such issue should be laid out in court as a first release. People like Justice Ademola, Fayose, Mike Ozekhome get away on technicalities rather than the truth.... but considering the kinds of reasoning of our so called "Yoots", something needs to be done. They need to be continously educated that it's about the truth, and not about South-South. they need to be made to realise that people in their midst are fleecing away their future and that of their children. Much more they need to be made to have a full and realistic appreciation of corruption.

This is what EFCC is potentially trading away to defense lawyers...

There are still many of his kind. So many contracts awarded without execution since1999 till date. I even learned that when you get a contract from the government, the money is as good as your own share of the national cake that you are not expected to execute the project.
We all know this before now that people were awarded contact based on political affiliation and even when they didn't execute nobody bothered.
Really Nigeria democracy is a big scam on the masses.
Nigeria youths wake up from sleep and stop your day light dreaming. 2019 is around the corner and that is the next opportunity we have got to demand for change. Let us vote all every damn person that has been in politic from 1999 til date. They are not there for our interest. We can't continue to do things the same way and be expecting a different result.
Both APC and PDP are fraud parties. If you rely on their candidates in 2019 you are doomed for another 4years be that o.
If they offer any gift during election please collect and don't vote for them.
I am tired of Nigeria, though am not in the country at the moment but I want a better Nigeria.

Guess I'll give you the benefits of doubt

The current NDDC are doing same, they have refused to pay tuition and maintenance fees of scholars 2015 & 2016, but have the mind to invite application for scholarship 2017

They claim tobfight for you but in reality, they steal what belongs to you. That is the story of all these millitants claiming rights gor their people

Immediately the EFCC south-south head ended his speech, the protesters were all cold, they could not utter a word again, one by one, they started dropping their placards, and before you know it, even his close associates who were all there, were shocked at the revelations, they too threw away their placards, everybody went back home.
