First of all it is untrue that Muslim men are the only ones that get companions in heaven (refer to the second link, which is Dr Zakir Naik's website). The main reason why the Quran and hadith are stressing the fact that men will get virgin girls is because it more appealing to men than promising virgin men to women. Men are more sexually active and therefore are facing a lot of difficulty (especially in the teenage years) to remain chaste. There are a lot of temptations in this world. That is why that Allah keeps promising these virgin girls who are more superior to the women of this world to those that remain patient and steadfast. That way, this motivates the unmarried men to remain chaste and be patient because they know they have something better waiting for them in the next life....of al thing he could use 2 entice u guys is 72 virgins,hmmnn...tot twas a joke @ first never knew twas true..

alBHAGDADI:
Do you read the Quran and hadiths? If no, then you have no obligation to call me a liar, cos all I've stated are written in the Quran and authentic hadiths.

As for the Quran being at par with science, that's a big lie. Is it not the same Quran where Allah said the sun sets in a pool of mud which was also corroborated by Mohammad in the hadiths?

these statements

"Thinking where

that he could have
known about things
like the common
origin of the
universe, because
scientists have only
found out within the
last few years with
very complicated

technological
methods that this is
the case."
"Somebody who did
not know something
about nuclear

think, be in a
position to find out
from his own mind
for instance that the
earth and the
heavens had the
same origin, or
many others of the
questions that we
have discussed
here...
If you combine all
these and you
combine all these
statements that are
being made in the
Qur'an in terms that
relate to the earth
and the formation
of the earth and
science in general,
you can basically
say that statements
made there in many
ways are true, they
can now be
confirmed by
scientific methods,
and in a way, you
can say that the
Qur'an is a simple
science text book
for the simple man.
And that many of
the statements
made in there at
that time could not
be proven, but that
modern scientific
methods are now in
a position to prove
what Muh ammad
said 1400 years
ago." [1]

al BAGDADI's comment received attention from the Christians who are on the same mentality but are short of poisonous statements like him. No way to neutralise except answer to the question:Islam is the world fastest growing religion, YES or NO?
If al BAGDADI and his fool admirers can reason that if they are true, why OYINBO people, our MASTERS, are accepting Islam?.
No amount of blaspheming will stop Islam and muslims progress.

DEBJOCH1:
Free your wife jor, work for your own Salvation just as she just did, your wife has digested the Surat Mariam and has discovered the way, the truth and light.
Before you condemn Islam totally I would like u to ponder on this. This is just one out of many scientific facts in the Quran, which distinguishes islam from other religion.

For thousands of years, astronomers
wrestled with basic questions concerning
the universe. Until the early 1920’s, it was
believed that the universe had always been
in existence; also, that the size of the
universe was fixed and not changing.
However, in 1912, the American astronomer,
Vesto Slipher, made a discovery that would
soon change astronomers’ beliefs about the
universe. Slipher, noticed that the galaxies
were moving away from earth at huge
velocities. These observations provided the
first evidence supporting the expanding-
universe theory. [1]
In 1916, Albert Einstein formulated his
General Theory of Relativity that indicated
that the universe must be either expanding
or contracting. Confirmation of the
expanding-universe theory finally came in
1929 in the hands of the well known
American astronomer Edwin Hubble.
By observing redshifts[2] in the light
wavelengths emitted by galaxies, Hubble
found that galaxies were not fixed in their
position; instead, they were actually moving
away from us with speeds proportional to
their distance from earth (Hubble's Law).
The only explanation for this observation
was that the universe had to be expanding.
Hubble’s discovery is regarded as one of
the greatest in the history of astronomy. In
1929, he published the velocity-time
relation which is the basis of modern
cosmology. In the years to come, with
further observations, the expanding-
universe theory was accepted by scientists
and astronomers alike.Astonishingly well before telescopes
were even invented and well before Hubble
published his Law, Prophet Muhammad
used to recite a verse of the Quran to his
companions that ultimately stated that the
universe is expanding.
“And the heaven We created with might, and
indeed We are (its) expander.” (Quran 51:47)
At the time of the revelation of the Quran,
the word “space” was not known, and
people used the word “heaven” to refer to
what lies above the Earth. In the above
verse, the word “heaven” is referring to
space and the known universe. The verse
points out that space, and thus the
universe, happens to be expanding, just as
Hubble’s Law states.
That the Quran mentioned such a fact
centuries before the invention of the first
telescope, at a time when there was
primitive knowledge in science, is
considered remarkable. This is more so
considering that, like many people in his
time, Prophet Muhammad happened to be
illiterate and simply could not have been
aware of such facts by himself. Could it be
that he had truly received divine revelation
from the Creator and Originator of the
universe?

Having read lots of blasphemous statement about Muhammad (pbuh) ,the best of mankind and lots of ignorant statement about Islam(the only religion that conforms with science),I deem it fit to respond as thus
We are in an age where science and technology plays a critical role in the development of any society. It is worthy to note that so discoveries that has made life easier where pioneered by science. One interesting thing is note that Islam is still the fastest growing religion (according to BBC and CNN,www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-39279631/islam-the-world-s-fastest-growing-religion).Even as the so called Islamic terrorist Isis continue to display their ruthless act and the western media continue to attack islam, the religion of Allah can't stop growing even in the west....well this reminds me of the saying of the holy prophet “This matter(Islam) will certainly reach every place
touched by the night and day. Allah will not
leave a house or residence except that Allah
will cause this religion to enter it, by which
the honorable will be honored and the
disgraceful will be disgraced. Allah will honor
the honorable with Islam and he will disgrace
the disgraceful with unbelief "(musnad ahmad)To your greatest dismay so many prolific scientists and researchers have engineered this growth.any rational-minded person will have a rethink about Islam after reading this.

proof that Islam is the religion of truth
Scientific Facts in the Quran The Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad in the 7th century. Science at the time was primitive, there were no telescopes, microscopes or anything even close to the technology we have today. People believed that the sun orbited the earth and that the sky was held up by big pillars at the corners of a flat earth. Within this backdrop the Quran was revealed, and it contains many scientific facts on topics ranging from astronomy to biology, geology to sociology. Some people may claim that the Quran was changed as new scientific facts were discovered but this cannot be the case because it is a historically documented fact that the Quran is preserved in its original language [1] . The Quran was written down and memorised by people during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad. One of the copies of the Quran which was written a few years after the death of the Prophet Muhammad is preserved in a museum in Uzbekistan. This copy is over 1400 years old and is exactly the same as the Arabic Quran that we have today[2] . The following are nine scientific facts found in the Quran: 1. Origin of Life Water is essential for all living things. We all know that water is vital to life but the Quran makes a very unusual claim: We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe? (Quran 21:30) In this verse water is pointed out as the origin of all life. All living things are made of cells. We now know that cells are mostly made up of water [3] . For example, 80% of the cytoplasm (basic cell material) of a standard animal cell is described as water in biology textbooks. The fact that living things consist mostly of water was discovered only after the invention of the microscope. In the deserts of Arabia, the last thing someone would have guessed is that all life came from water. 2. Iron Iron is not natural to the earth. It did not form on the earth but came down to earth from outer space. This may sound strange but it’s true. Scientists have found that billions of years ago the earth was stuck by meteorites. These meteorites were carrying Iron from distant stars which had exploded[4] . The Quran says the following on the origin of Iron: “We sent down Iron with its great inherent strength and its many benefits for humankind.” (Quran 57:25) God uses the words ‘sent down’ for Iron. It is clear from the verse that Iron is not an earthly material, but was sent down for the benefit of humanity. The fact that Iron came down to earth from outer space is something which could not be known by the primitive science of the 7th century. 3. Sky’s Protection The sky plays a crucial role in protecting the earth. The sky protects the earth from the lethal rays of the sun. If the sky did not exist then the sun’s radiation would have killed off all life on earth. It also acts like a blanket wrapped around the earth, to protect it from the freezing cold of space. The temperature just above the sky is approximately -270oC. If this temperature was to reach earth then the planet would freeze over instantly. The sky also protects life on earth by warming the surface through heat retention (greenhouse effect), and reducing temperature extremes between day and night[5] . These are some of the many protective functions of the sky. The Quran asks us to consider the sky in the following verse: “We made the sky a protective ceiling. And yet they are turning away from Our signs!” (Quran 21:32) The Quran points to the sky’s protection as a sign of God. The protective properties of the sky were discovered by scientific research conducted in the 20th century. 4. Mountains The Quran draws our attention to a very important characteristic of mountains: “Did We not make the earth a resting place? And the mountains as stakes?” (Quran 78:6-7) The Quran indicates that mountains have deep roots by using the word stakes to describe them. In fact mountains do have deep roots, and the word stakes is an accurate description for them. A book titled ‘Earth’ by Geophysicist Frank Press explains that mountains are like stakes, and are buried deep under the surface of the earth. Mount Everest (pictured below), the height of which is approximately 9 km above ground, has a root deeper than 125 km. The fact that mountains have deep ‘stake’ like roots was not known, until after the development of the theory of plate tectonics in the beginning of the 20th century.[6] 5. Expansion of the Universe At a time when the science of Astronomy was still primitive, the expansion of the universe was described in Quran: “And it is We who have built the Universe with [Our creative] power and keep expanding it.” (Quran 51:47) The fact that the universe is expanding was discovered in the last century. The physicist Stephen Hawking in his book ‘A Brief History of Time’ writes, “The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of the 20th century.”. The Quran mentioned the expansion of the universe even before the invention of the telescope! 6. Sun’s Orbit In 1512 the astronomer Nicholas Copernicus put forward his theory that the Sun is motionless at the centre of the solar system, and that the planets revolve around it. The belief that the Sun is stationary was widespread amongst astronomers until the 20th century. It is now a well-established scientific fact that the Sun is not stationary, but is moving in an orbit around the centre of our Milky Way galaxy [7] . The Quran mentions the orbit of the Sun: “It is He who created night and day, the Sun and the Moon, each floating in its orbit.” (Quran 21:33) The Quran would have been wrong according to astronomers just a couple of decades ago. But we now know that the Quranic account of the Sun’s motion is consistent with modern Astronomy. 7. The Ocean The Quran uses imagery to covey its deep meanings, here it describes the state of the unbelievers as: “Darkness out in a deep ocean which is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds, layers of darkness, one upon the other. When one puts out his hand [therein], he can hardly see it. Those God gives no light to, they have no light.” (Quran 24:40) It is commonly thought that waves only occur on the surface of the ocean. However oceanographers have discovered that there are internal waves that take place below the surface of the ocean. These waves are invisible to the human eye, and can only be detected by specialist equipment[8] . The Quran mentions darkness in a deep ocean above which are waves, above which are waves, then clouds above that. This description is not only remarkable because it describes the internal waves in the ocean, but also because it describes darkness deep in the ocean. A human being can dive no more than 70 metres without breathing equipment. Light is present at that depth, but if we go down 1000 metres it is completely dark[9] . 1400 years ago there were no submarines or specialist equipment to discover internal waves or the darkness deep inside the oceans. 8. Lying and Movement There was a cruel oppressive tribal leader named Abu Jahl who lived during the time of Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him. God revealed a verse of the Quran to warn him: “No Indeed! If he does not stop, We will seize him by the forehead, his lying, sinful forehead.” (Quran 96:15-16) God does not call this person a liar, but calls his forehead (the front part of the brain) ‘lying’ and ‘sinful’, and warns him to stop. This verse is significant for two reasons. The first is that the front part of our brain is responsible for voluntary movement[10] .This is known as the frontal lobe. A book titled ‘Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology’ which includes the results of research on the functions of this area states: The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area [11] . The part of the brain that is responsible for movement is said to be seized if the man does not stop. Secondly, numerous studies have shown that this same region (frontal lobe) is responsible for the lying function of the brain[12] . One such study at the University of Pennsylvania in which volunteers were asked questions during a computerized interrogation, it was found that when the volunteers were lying there was significantly increased activity in the prefrontal and premotor cortices (frontal lobe region) [13] . The front part of the brain is responsible for movement and lying. The Quran links movement and lying to this area. These functions of the frontal lobe were discovered with medical imaging equipment which was developed in the 20th century. 9. Pain Receptors For a long time it was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was dependent on the brain. However it has been discovered that there are pain receptors present in the skin[14] . Without these pain receptors, a person would not be able to feel pain. Consider the following verse on pain: “We shall send those who reject Our revelations to the (Hell) Fire. When their skins have been burned away, We shall replace them with new ones so that they may continue to feel the pain: God is Almighty, All-Wise.” (Quran 4:56) God tells the people who reject his message that when they are in Hell and their skins are burnt off (so they can’t feel any pain), he will give them new skins so that they continue to feel the pain. The Quran makes it clear that pain is dependent upon on the skin. The discovery of pain receptors in the skin is a fairly recent discovery for Biology.
CONCLUSION
These are just some of the many scientific facts found in the Quran. It is important to note that the Quran is not a book of science, but that it is consistent with science. To claim that scientific facts in the Quran are due to coincidence would be irrational. The best explanation is that God revealed this knowledge to the Prophet Muhammad. Just like the Quran contains knowledge about the natural world, it also contains information about the inner dimensions of our souls. It relates to our feelings, wants and needs. The Quran informs us that we have a purpose in life, and that following God’s guidance will lead us to inner peace in this life, and Paradise in the hereafter. And that rejection of his message will lead to depression in this life and Hellfire after death. “We shall show them Our signs in the Universe and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is the witness of all things?” (Quran 41:53)

We don't kill. Only people who feels like killing kills.

Funny you hid the blatant truth..

Go back and analyse the post,

Ali prefers to burn them as his own preferred method of killing infidels.. but Abass said he wouldn't have done that (burning) as it is against the law of allah, instead he would prefer to kill them according to the law of allah, which means death by sword..

So Abass clearly is not against killing of infidel but against the method applied in killing them..

Good day

Court decides while the kids are in a boarding house. 9 months (3 terms) in school, 3 months at home which will be split between parents. If they aren't in high school yet, just have to be patient play along till they get into a boarding school with a strong religious background (your religion of course), then you serve her a divorce paper if she refuses to go back to the religion in which she was when we got married.

I finally rest my case on this issue, we are all entitled to our opinion.

und among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant; 17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel; 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

Or Deuteronomy 13:

6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.

12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in 13 that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.

Or Numbers 31, where God commands the Israelites to attack Midian and kill all the men, all the married women and all the male children but to keep the virgin females as the spoils of war and distribute them among the soldiers. The reason offered for that barbarism? Two Midianite women had allegedly “tempted” two Israelite men to worship other gods.

Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"(may almighty Allah Forgive you for the false thing you just posted. You only posted a sentence in the verse ) in the passage the are two leaders in the verse one believes in God's judgment other one believed in taking laws to his hands. Ask for forgiveness. The problem is not religion the problem is individual's personality. No one should hide under the word religion. Am a Muslim. My wife can practice any religion she wants. What matters most is her behavior.

You are either a Yoruba or not sound in Islam. Allah commanded the Muslims to kill the apostate ( ie those who abandon Islam). below is a question answered by a Muslim scholar to a non Muslim who was seeking to kmow.

Que:
As a non Muslim, I find myself Intrigued and
attracted to your faith. However, I find it
difficult to comprehend how a man can be
sentenced to death for speaking( Salman
Rushdie). I would have thought that we as
humans do not have that right to make those
decisions, only god can?
Published Date: 2010-02-01

Ans;
Praise be to Allaah.
We thank you for your confidence in us and
for sending this question to us, and we
appreciate your being intrigued by our beliefs
and your eagerness to find out the answer.
We welcome you as a visitor and reader and
learner.
What stood out from your letter is that you
are impressed with the religion of Islam. This
is a good sign for us and for you. We are
happy for our religion to reach people like
you who are seeking for the truth. Our
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) told us that this religion would
reach all places on this earth. It was narrated
that Tameem al-Daari said: “I heard the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) say: ‘This matter (i.e.,
Islam) will certainly reach everywhere that
night and day reach, and Allaah will not leave
any house or tent [i.e., all dwellings, in towns
and in the desert], but Allaah will cause this
religion to enter it, and some people will be
honoured because of it [by converting] and
others will be humiliated because of it [for
refusing to embrace it], and they will be ruled
by the Muslims, an honour which Allaah will
bestow on Islam and a humiliation which He
will inflict on kufr (disbelief).”
(Narrated by Ahmad, 16344; classed as
saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-
Saheehah, 3).
In your case, your admiration for Islam will
motivate you to find out what this pure
monotheistic religion teaches, and how it is
in accordance with sound human nature and
common sense. We advise you to avoid
completely and preconceptions that may
influence you and take your time in reading
about the teachings of the Islamic religion.
Perhaps you could read material on this site
about Islam, such as questions no. 219,
21613, 20756, 10590.
With regard to your question, “However, I find
it difficult to comprehend how a man can be
sentenced to death for speaking. I would have
thought that we as humans do not have that
right to make those decisions, only god can”
– what you say is correct, because no-one
has the right to condemn another person to
death without evidence from the Book of
Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him).
The ruling of execution because of a word
that somebody utters is what the Muslim
scholars call al-riddah (apostasy). What is
apostasy and what constitutes apostasy?
What is the ruling on the apostate (al-
murtadd)?
1 – Riddah (apostasy) refers to when a
Muslim becomes a disbeliever by saying a
clear statement to that effect, or by uttering
words which imply that (i.e., which imply kufr
or disbelief), or he does something that
implies that (i.e., an action which implies kufr
or disbelief).
2 – What constitutes apostasy
The matters which constitute apostasy are
divided into four categories:
(a) Apostasy in beliefs, such as associating
others with Allaah, denying Him, or denying
an attribute which is proven to be one of His
attributes, or by affirming that Allaah has a
son. Whoever believes that is an apostate and
a disbeliever.
(b) Apostasy in words, such as insulting
Allaah or the Messenger (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him).
(c) Apostasy in actions, such as throwing the
Qur’an into a filthy place, because doing that
shows disrespect towards the words of
Allaah, so it is a sign that one does not
believe. Other such actions include
prostrating to an idol or to the sun or moon.
(d) Apostasy by omission, such as not doing
any of the rituals of Islam, or turning away
from following it altogether.
3 – What is the ruling on the apostate?
If a Muslim apostatizes and meets the
conditions of apostasy – i.e., he is of sound
mind, an adult and does that of his own free
will – then his blood may be shed with
impunity. He is to be executed by the Muslim
ruler or by his deputy – such as the qaadi or
judge, and he is not to not be washed (after
death, in preparation for burial), the funeral
prayer is not to be offered for him and he is
not to be buried with the Muslims.
The evidence that the apostate is to be
executed is the words of the Prophet (peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
“Whoever changes his religion, execute
him.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2794). What
is meant by religion here is Islam (i.e.,
whoever changes from Islam to another
religion).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) said: “It is not permissible to
shed the blood of a Muslim who bears
witness that there is no god except Allaah
and that I am His Messenger, except in one
of three cases: a soul for a soul (i.e., in the
case of murder); a married man who commits
adultery; and one who leaves his religion and
splits form the jamaa’ah (main group of
Muslims).” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6878;
Muslim, 1676)
See al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah , 22/180.
Thus it will be clear to you that execution of
the apostate is something that is commanded
by Allaah, when he commanded us to obey
the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him), as He says (interpretation of
the meaning):
“O you who believe! Obey Allaah and obey the
Messenger (Muhammad), and those of you
(Muslims) who are in authority”

Allah will honor
the honorable with Islam and he will disgrace
the disgraceful with unbelief "(musnad ahmad)To your greatest dismay so many prolific scientists and researchers have engineered this growth.any rational-minded person will have a rethink about Islam after reading this.

what I do today and describing
things, I could not describe the
things that were described...
I see no evidence to refute the

related to his specialised field of

on verifying the text presented to him
from the Qur'an and H adith.
"... these H adiths (sayings of
Muh ammad) could not have been
obtained on the basis of the scientific
knowledge that was available at the time
of the 'writer'... It follows that not only is
there no conflict between genetics and
religion (Islam) but in fact religion
(Islam) may guide science by adding
revelation to some of the traditional
scientific approaches... There exist
statements in the Qur'an shown centuries

He was

" You have seen

for yourself the
true nature of
modern
Astronomy by
means of modern
equipment,
rockets, and
satellites
developed by
man. You have
also seen how the
same facts were
mentioned by the
Qur'an fourteen
centuries ago. So
what is your
opinion?"
"That is a difficult
question which I
have been thinking
about since our
discussion here. I
am impressed at
how remarkably
some of the ancient
writings seem to
correspond to
modern and recent
Astronomy. I am not
a sufficient scholar
of human history to
project myself
completely and
reliably into the
circumstances that
1400 years ago
would have
prevailed.
Certainly, I would
like to leave it at
that, that what we
have seen is
remarkable, it may
or may not admit of
scientific
explanation, there
may well have to be
something beyond
what we understand
as ordinary human

account for the
writings that we
have seen."

the ocean floor
and marine
geology.
"I find it very
interesting that this
sort of information
is in the ancient
scriptures of the
Holy Qur'an, and I
have no way of
knowing where they
would have come
from. But I think it
is extremely
interesting that they
are there and this
work is going on to
discover it, the
meaning of some of
the passages."
And when he was
