I hear what you're saying, and you're right considering all that you mentioned. However I do believe things are changing slowly to accommodate the influx of people from other regions. And I don't think Yorubas tend to gain anything from this relationship with Nigeria other than Nigeria saturating the region with their migrants and giving nothing in return. I wouldn't go as far as to say the southwest should secede, but regional government should be our top priority.

Most slippers and rubber products are manufactured by Chinese and Indian companies.
Noodles is dominated by indomie and Dangote.
Beer is dominated by Nigerian bottling company and Guinness.
Now name the Igbo owned manufacturing companies in Lagos that make up 70% of manufacturing companies in Lagos.
