Diademk07: Have you forgotten the lagos-ibadan media which spread false news about the Igbos and even lied about what transpired during the civil wars?? Agree to the fact that the Igbos bounced back to set the record straight and to counter the lies which your lots has spewed all over the nation and not the other way round. |

shukuokukobambi: You dey mind dem? They would never learn lesson from each of their tears, they would rather be pointing fingers at people who aint behind their woes. Worst of it, they would lie and turn history on its head to make themselves look good. What happened to taking responsibility for whatever trouble you caused? That's what makes a man! 1 Like |

Phi001:What is speacial about Nigeria staying together forever.USSR has fragmented and still fragmenting. Many countries in d Middle East r doing that.In Africa Eritrea/Ethopia comes to mind, and what about South sudan?Remember we were seperate groups before Lugard merged us and dont tell me u see Lugard as God.So find out why he amalgamated Nigeria. But wait,i leant the North was prosperous before amalgamation, so is the Kingdom of Benin and the Oduduwa. The Igbos and Ijaws had formidale economic system.Dont u think we can do better if one goes out?i mean both doing better?because it will create competition. |

Diademk07: I wud pretend not to see the Insults you jhux vomited but I wanna let you know that this is not back in the days when Igbos are passive in media and people had to digest what the Lagos-Ibadan media house dish out. All lies spewed has been straightened and many more will. I wouldn't spent my night listing them out for you, do yourself a favour and search you'll see and if you're of a liberal mind you'll understand what am saying when you see them. |

reality1010:I'm not saying there's anything special, all I'm saying is Nigeria is going to be here for a long time... It's not going to create any competition..If that healthy competition cannot not be created when we are together, what makes you think it'll be created if we split? |
Re: I Don’t Hate The North Like People Believe – Nnamdi Kanu by reality1010: 12:58am On Jun 27, 2017 |
Phi001:Nice question.Healthy competition will be created.Citizens will agitate for it and the various leaders will work for it.Sometimes we see South Africa as a whiteman's territory, but Ghana's uniterrupted democracy influenced our leaders a bit.so the proximity will create quicker and better competition. |

IfeanyiYagazie:Oga, if you truly want to be honest please do an extensive Google search, and you will see where Kanu called Nigeria a zoo, referred to Northerners as baboons, insulted those who attended churches owned by yoruba pastors, called for the extermination of certain ethnic groups and even solicited for arms to be used against Nigerians. All this your PR efforts here will never work. Most of us had access to his hate speeches from the days of Radio Biafra and witnessed his contempt for other ethnic groups. All what you are doing here is trying to 'whitewash' Kanu's evil rhetoric. We are not that gullible. Now, please kindly refrain from quoting me, if all you want to do is push your brand of propaganda into the public space. Diademk07:Oh, you sef don see am! Diademk07: What Truth?? Do you know anything about truth? Can you sincere admit that you're been truthfully? U are no way different for the Other Yoruba Igbo-bashers I've seen on this forum. U can roar loud for all I care but that doesn't deter The Igbo vision. This thread doesn't have anything in the first place to do with the Yoruba, Kanu came clean to correct the wrong notion wide believed by Ignoramus of him been hateful and you're head drinking paradox for another man's headache. It merely talks about an Igbo man sewing clothes for Almajiri children in Kano. Is the man related to Kanu in any way, or was he carrying out his instructions? laudate: go here and see how it all started. https://www.nairaland.com/3846933/trip-memory-nnamdi-kanu-started I saw how your were masturbating on the this thread cos the Kanu haters seems to be having an upper hand. The truth is no one is perfect except God. Am not trying to labelled Kanu a saint here He might have erroneously done things which he shouldn't have done but he did It in a way which he thought suitable for seeing to the interest and welfare of his people, his style may not have been the best but his human jhux like me and you. I don't see anything bad in him coming out clean to clear the bad notion and assumptions held by your lots about him been a hater of the northerners that was why I cite those instances of him exhibiting his human nature in those links. I know you have a deep-rooted Igbophobia in you so any effort trying to convince you would be in vain. Nigeria made Igbo what it is today. No any Igbo knowing about the civil war and the millions of innocent Igbo lives lost during the war and the role played by each ethnic group that would be bitter. u ain't Igbo so you wouldn't know how it felt. I personally lost a lot of family members and relative to the war and even to crises up north. Kanu might have been in a similar situation as I am. he might have been emotional but he's still human. |

IfeanyiYagazie:Oga, I was not masturbating on any thread. That is default behaviour for you and your IPOB crew. When people like you choose to ignore the facts, and wallow in falsehood who am I to stop you? Kanu made all those hate speeches, many of which were heard by the public, and even recorded in some cases. And you call them assumptions, or notions? Haba! Fear God, nah. Now, you have chosen to digress into the civil war. Kindly stop playing the victim card. There are plenty of threads on NL, that have dealt with the civil war. Go there and make your point, but please do not derail this thread. Every side lost family and friends in that war. Both the Nigerian side, and the Biafran side. Able-bodied men were conscripted on the streets, and sent to the war-front with little or no training. May the souls of the departed on all sides, rest in peace. The fact still remains that Kanu incited hate against other ethnic groups. He needs to own up, and apologise clearly, publicly and properly for his misguided utterances, and learn to treat others with respect. He also needs to instruct his acolytes to do the same. Finally, I am not Igbophobic. I am simply, unapologetically IPOB-phobic. I hate their vitriolic rhetoric, insulting epithets, propagation of hate, and blatant condemnation of other ethnic groups, as well as the way they try to blame others for all the real and imaginary woes, suffered by Nd'Igbo. I dislike their continuous attempts to carve other non-Igbo ethnic groups into their proposed republic, despite the strident objections of such groups. Now, please kindly stop spamming my mentions with your propaganda. If you quote me again, I will be compelled to ignore you. I don't engage people who are trying to conduct PR exercises for Nnamdi Kanu, or those trying to whitewash his folly. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Is anything working out as you expected if your dream Nigeria?? It's only a hypocrite that would keep on deceiving himself of evening thing been OK when the odds is saying the reverse. For how long have we been singing "restructuring " what has happened?? The Three RRR promised to the easterners after the war has it been implemented? Has the Igbo man be Incorporated into the Nigerian society as promised after the war?? or seen as a 2nd classed citizen. Unity and progress is not jhux about sweet words but action. |

IfeanyiYagazie: No one is justifying anyone's doing here.. For me, I come to the forum, see some people bashing my folks and I reply them in coins but then I would see some people calling me a tribalist even when I was only replying to what they dished out! That's why I stated earlier that I loathe people who are economical with the truth and what I hate the most is revisionism! I hate it when some people lie about history to curry sympathy and in the process, shifts the blame on others. In fact, that's one of the thing that normally irk me the most on here. |

IfeanyiYagazie: IIRC Oba of Lagos was roundly criticised by the Yorubas to the extent that he had to come out and retract his speech, saying it was a joke but then, did your folks criticise the events leading to Oba Akinolu's statement? Are we supposed to forget that your folks first called Lagos a "no mans" land which led to Oba Akinolu making such statement? Personally, I don't see what's wrong in Ariyo's statement. His statement was about how the Ibos are always causing troubles everywhere like they did in South Africa and were dealt with but if Lagos deal with them and ask them to pack, they would start to cry... Cut to your Journalist screaming blue murder. The same journalist who failed to criticise your folks calling Ariyo's ancestral land a no man's land before he made such statement! Moreover, Ariyo never asked for any ibo to be killed! Even the Oba who made the "Lagoon statement" only said that anyone who's against the cultures and the progress of the land will find himself in the lagoon. His only fault was that he was facing the ibo groups in front of him as he spoke. But let me ask you, did Yoruba take these people as their gods and worship them after they made such statements compared to what the Ibos did with Kanu? Abegi! 2 Likes |

In an interview with select journalists in Enugu during the 47th anniversary commemoration of Biafra Day, on May 30, 2014, Kanu projected that by September 30, 2015 Nigeria would cease to exist even as he declared his readiness to fight all the way until Biafra is carved out of Nigeria as a separate republic. |
