chhhoi, this man...u don jump from not powering tv to a full sumo?.
assuming your sumo is 1hp = 900watts approx. lithium battery is your best bet. a 24v 280ah = 7.5kwh lithium pack can power your sumo and your other small loads. you wud need minimum of 10 pieces 300w panels and a 3.5kw hybrid inverter, if nepa is not available, however you can get away with less panels if you have reasonable supply from phcn daily.

All the gurus in the house, what is the difference between hybrid inverter and sine wave inverter. I don't know that's the reason I asked, I don't know anything about inverter.

Based on types, we have stand alone inverter or hybrid inverter type.
based on wave form, we have modified sine wave or pure sine wave.
inverter can come in either types with modified or pure sine wave but sine wave is always better.
the stand alone type can not work with solar panels without you buying a charge controller as a support but hybrid can work with solar panels directly (i.e inverter and solar charger in one unit). as for me I prefer stand alone because both the inverter and solar charger will probably not have fault at the same time.
my Kobo sense but expert will give more details.

Years of paying cheap for energy in Nigeria finally coming home to roost. The country can no longer afford it. Those of us who made the tactical foresight of switching to solar and the accompanying life style change that warrants are very lucky. I see the nation gradually adapting to new realities. No more would we see houses with tiny weeny windows. Cross ventilation and natural lights would start being a thing.

Hopefully we would see a more sustainable approach to how we use energy and that is always a good thing.

Guys any idea where or whom I can purchase a soft starter device..thanks ahead.
