NiyiOmoIyunade: All Fangpusuns are clones (good quality clones) of another mainstream product.
The Fangpusun BlueSolar version is a Victron clone while the Fangpusun FlexMax is an Outback clone I believe.
The value proposition from Fangpusun is to give you essentially thesame hardware and solar charger performance as the main product but at a pocket friendly price - when it comes to software updates and features and support sha, you will be short vs the main product.
I love the Fangpusuns for budget installs, I prefer the BlueSolar clone for it's simplicity and budget friendly price - some people swear by the Fangpusun FM80 because it *appears* rugged due to looks and feel and weight - I do not agree all that makes a difference to the field performance - it does have a lot more bells and whistles that you can (mis)use and also subject to more measurement error and calibration drift.

Bro, except you're using Lithium chemistry batteries, 7ah lead acid batteries will not serve you overnight with all these rechargeable fans dem.
4ah 12v cane with one QASA rechargeable like that and the battery works for only 4hrs after full charge, gave up the ghost on the 3rd month of use. I changed to it an external 7ah 12v thinking I'll get super long working time but battery also died on the 4th month.
Changed things to Lithium 12v 5ah (2,200mah in 3s2p config) and I've had peace ever since. Hello boss, can I see a pics of Ur connection and did u use a BMS with it? |

You get 7hours backup time assuming the battery is full. On whether you are good to go, if that's what your budget can carry why not. |

I will use my fan for 7 hrs each day, the TV for 12 hrs and bulb(all) an average of 3 hrs per day. Then can your question be answered. As one of the gurus in the house will say, I am a novice and stand to be corrected. And this your 500 watts inverter what is the make. Is the pix available? And I doubt if the 500 watts panel will charge your battery full daily especially if it is a chinko and is not well positioned. |

I can only recommend you use something higher than 500w inverter (1kw or 1.5kva) if you are planning to run a refrigerator on it. Also, you can instead get a 5w bulb instead of the 15w bulbs in view. Truly, the size of the panels may not do much in terms of replenishing lost energy of the battery considering the load you plan to run on it. Can you ramp it up for 4 nos of 250w PV and two numbers of 200ah, and get an MPPT controller, say 50A? It is always better to get it right the first time so that you do not consider getting a second battery after four/five months of use. You can buy and keep things like PV, and other parts (like solar charge controller and inverter) if the cost is an issue. I know someone who kept 6 PVs he bought for four years before buying the battery. Today, he is enjoying his system with no issues. 1 Like |

To your last question:

And as suggested change your bulb to 5 watts. If money is not much of a problem, look at a bigger inverter for future upgrade. And do not use modified sine wave. These are advise you have been given already and they are for a reason. Can you post the specs and pix of this your rechargeable standing fan. At 15 watts(and I think I got a good fan in sturdiness and wattage at 40watts) I am interested. What is the cost. I will advise you get a meter to confirm state of charge of the battery or better still add another panel. The installer gave you the basic minimum to enable you slap any NEPA official. * change bulb to 5 watts * look at bigger inverter * ensure you are not supplied modified sine wave inverter * think about upping your panel total to at least 600 watts * why not 60a pwm or powmr mppt(30k) *use 10 mm wire or bigger *ensure installer know his onions You are good to go with the above. Lastly get the names of the materials you are to be supplied so you won't be given anyhow products. Cost/price is another factor. Do your due diligence on that. 1 Like |

Please advise... I had wanted to get a Luminous Delite package which consists of * a 900VA/12V inverter * a 150Ah/12V tubular * a trolley(rack) As at when I made my research/reviews about this package, it was #99k...Though I was down due to high financial commitments at the time but was still going to get it when cash flows in. I wished I could get a 220ah/12V battery as a different package but that's not available. The trolley itself is just for aesthetics..can do without it. Now, the price of the package has gone up to 120k... . I feel I can get something better at that price or with a little topup as I want a 220Ah tubular battery and probably a higher capacity inverter. So I intend to get a fairly used 1.5KVA/12V inverter and then buy the brand new 220ah battery...and probably get a second battery in the future to increase usage duration. I also have a small space and wouldn't want any annoying humming inverter. So No No to modified sine wave inverters... Cc: unicmarket mctfopt niyiomolyunade ceaser efuro ojeysky olaolu11 Good morning madam They have done justice to the question o, But I just want to add a little, Your load is about 140watts altogether And assuming your battery is 70% Depth of Discharge which means 70/100 x 200ah , 140ah usable current in 1hr And this means your 140 watts can run for about 12 hrs But if at worst your DOD(depth of discharge) is 50% then like they said; it will be about 7hrs backup time So try and confirm the dod of the battery you are getting Most people prefer to use MPPT rather than a pwm because it is more strategic in converting excess power to charge the battery, while pwm may just waste the excess power( what does that mean?) when a pwm receives 40v 5amps, from solar panels “for instance”, to charge your 12v battery, it only takes about 12v and the 5 amps even if the battery is needing more at that time, so what happens to you 28v( certainly lost) But an MPPT charge controller or cc for short converts the excess 28v to amps so as to charge the battery more effectively So it then charges up to 12v , 16amps (wow) So little power loss, and your battery charges most effectively Now to the choice of your Inverter, please be particular about the cut off voltage( am assuming it’s a power Inverter) some of them, their cut off voltage may even get too low that it can damage battery cells. By cut off voltage I mean, the voltage of the battery at which Inverter will go off when the battery battery is low. And lastly personally I think 500watts solar power is not bad for your load, I think it’s Just good enough, you may choose to increase it, but with a good cc you will get optimum charging power.
