NORMAN

NORMAN is a normal man he is just a common gentleman, grew up the normal way with normal medical reports, nothing more than a university degree an alumnus corps member, no special skill nor talent just an average student no carry-over nor distinction, “Thank God”, he says every time the semester result is release not much of a prayer warrior or believer but a common survival of shame and sadness.
Life after school he was very lucky again finding the normal job, paying him the normal way no increase no decrease, he is very popular in all the ‘Akube’ shops, does it matter the grade?, he manage to step out among his peers. Not too much of a dream chaser but always finding solutions to his own problems without any special talent, he seems to maintain his key performance indicator (KPI) at work. A normal woman he found himself, he is not particular about prospect or improving just living the normal, behold the normal baby joins the train in their one-room apartment, he seems to be living in his dream. No special plan for baby normal yet another joins the train, no special contribution his family, just living the normal life. Without being closer to God or any of his prophet he pass the same ideology unto his offspring, ‘Just believe in God’ he says all the time.
Not a unique being but he usually get whatever he needed at the right time, no intention of leaving the realm where he grew, not much interest in the western world or even intra-country exploration. But soon old age knocks, then he began to think that he should have stepped up his game, though he was able to key into savings and contribution, he could buy himself a land, that’s an asset worth working on, he thought to himself, but he could only rely on help from his wife who is a normal market woman and together they achieve the feat, he his always getting result isn’t he?. Here comes old age he began to think about death and the day of judgement, he has no idea what the grave has in stock and he never bothered to seek the knowledge. He is no atheist but a moderate being, he would spend some time in hell and then in paradise or vice versa as the case maybe in the presence of God, HE created him after all.
