If you're a born again Christian, you will definitely make heaven but going to church will contribute to your growth in Christ... You won't grow by staying at home and of course you wouldn't like to be on a spot and not grow or if you have a baby that is not growing will you be happy? God loves us regardless.

Going to church will help me grow in Christ? I thought it was listening to the word of God and living a sin free life. Bro, the word of God is not preached only in Churches, what's stopping me from turning on my TV and watching our sunday service at home? First reason is coz I put reasonable money as offering last Sunday and I wasn't blessed during the week, so I am angry but if I check and see the car key on top the table I just may go to Church, my body and spirit weak

i haven't stepped my feet in church for months, i just got tired of the whole routine, wake up on Sunday morning rush to church like a saint get a good seat listen to the pastor renew his brainwashing tactics, talk about money make some folks feel like failures challenge you to expect money during the week from where you didn't sow pay some tithe and offering. then listen to him boast about his wealth and riches, you go home feeling depressed only to repeat the thrash next week. thank you lord but I'll pass.
