Remember how our Fathers cherished their collection of vinyls. One could find Records of Ebenezer Obey, Kool and the gang, King Sunny Ade, Osadebe, Onyeka Onwenu etc in their collection. Hey, let’s forget about those old chaps for now and talk about the music albums that rocked our world in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Below are covers of some great albums that rocked the Nigerian airwaves way before Nigerian music found its bearing and became the global phenomenon it is today. If you didn’t buy any of the music albums below, then you might as well admit that you are an indomie generation kid who just started listening to music. I bought most of them except for Missy Elliot.. Never liked her songs anyway. My no.1 then na Craig David, then Sisquo, Ja rule, Dmx, Westlife, Wyclef, Ruff Ryderz, otherS na wash.
